 The Yellowstone Caldera is a Supervolcano that almost 

nobody knows about!. This volcano is not just any 

volcano. It is the greatest, biggest, and largest volcano 

in the world! 

 This volcano sits beneath the Yellowstone Park. A park 

that attracts millions of visitors each year for its out of 

this world natural hot water fountains. And guess what 

powers up all of those natural shows. The Yellowstone 

Caldera. 

In reality the park has out of this world attractions 

because of the caldera. 

 The Yellowstone Caldera is a Supervolcano 

that is one of the biggest and largest in the 

world. This volcano sits calmly, apparently, 

under the Yellowstone Park.

 This park attracts millions of visitors each 

year. However, what the visitors don´t know is 

that beneath them sits a sleeping giant that is 

about to erupt in the next couple of thousand 

years.

 If this happens, this could mean the end of 

the world, no doubt about it. The 

consequences will be terrible.

 Scientists and geologists believe this because the 

Yellowstone Volcano erupts every 600,000 years and 

the last eruption was 640,000 years ago, so the 

eruption is already due. 

 So you might be wondering how are we going to 

make it if this happens, right? Well the answer is that 

we are currently not prepared for the eruption. So lets 

say that the volcano erupted today. The United Sates 

will be covered in a thick layer of lava, making it 

inhabitable. Every living thing there will die. However 

this is not the worst thing. Then the ash from the 

volcano will cover our atmosphere and most of the 

Earth´s surface, making sunlight extremely hard or 

impossible to get to us and extremely hard or 

impossible to harvest crops for us to eat.
