He landed in Prague and decided to take a short trip to the city. He saw Charles Bridge, the Cathedral of St. Vitus and Prague Castle. Then he took the bus to Valtice, a beautiful town in Southern Moravia.

When Oliver got off the

Oliver learnt that Valtice castle belongs to the Lednice-Valtice area and is written in the List of Cultural Heritage of UNESCO.

After the walk, they came back home for lunch. Their mum prepared a very good meal - mashed potatoes and baked chicken, a favourite Czech dish. In the afternoon they went to Reistna, located on the border with Austria. "Look. Here is Moravia and there is Austria and you can see vineyards around us," said Tadeáš to Oliver. "Now I understand why is your town called the capital
of wine," said, Oliver.

They came back home, had dinner which was a cottage cake and tea and went to sleep, to be ready for another adventurous day.
In the morning they went to Lednice. Oliver was very surprised when he saw a Turkish minaret in Lednice Park. Klára explained to him that the owner of Lednice Castle wanted to build a church in the village, but he didn't get permission so he decided to build the tower. They went to the minaret, which is a lookout tower, and they had a beautiful view from it. "You can see the Alps when the weather is clear.", said Klára.
The last stop in Lednice was a castle greenhouse full of tropical plants, a little lake and birds. "It looks like a jungle!" said Oliver. "Yes," smiled Klára and Tadeáš.
They came back home. "Where are you going to travel now, Oliver? asked Tadeáš. "I will see in the morning," smiled Oliver.

On the next day , he was in İstanbul Airport after three hours journey. He was trying to decide where to go and he was drinking his coffee. He didn’t look ahead and he crashed into someone. His coffee poured out. The girl helped him about it and she said:‘’I’m so sorry. It was an accident. ‘’

They bought a ticket for Oliver and got on the plane. After two hours , they landed Rize Airport. They got on the bus and continued down the road. The accent that people were using in the bus made Oliver surprised , he asked:

Tanem smiled ‘’ It is an accent belongs to Hopa. Actually there are also two different languages we speak , Homshetsma and Lazuri, you will see. ‘’
When they came Hopa, it was dusk. They went home , Tanem’s family welcomed Oliver warmly.
Tanem said : ‘’We should get up early tomorrow Oliver, there are a lot of places to see. ‘’

Oliver smiled and waved his hand…

Saying, I’m going to Romania”. He boarded the plane right after saying their goodbyes. While waiting for the plane to take off to Bucharest, Oliver opened a guide with all the attractions in Romania. He read through it during the whole flight picking where to go.
When the plane landed, Oliver had already picked his first destination. That was the Bran castle. He read about it in the brochure and heard a lot from his parents who went there on their honeymoon.
Oliver took the first train that went to Brașov and a bus from the train station to the castle. The first things that he saw when he entered were some old armours and weapons that were used against the Ottomans. Walking further into the castle, he could see very old furniture. The boy read on a plate that the furniture from earlier belonged to the voivods that fought with the Ottoman army.
After a very long tour, Oliver got hungry. He decided to eat in the courtyard of the castle where there were a lot of stands with food. He asked the waiter what is a popular traditional dish that Romanians like to eat. He told Oliver that a good meal is sarmale. The waiter explained that sarmales are minced meat mixed with vegetables. All of this mixture is rolled in cabbage and boiled.

After eating sarmale in the city of Brașov, he took the bus to Tușnad Baths, where there is a spring with mineral water where all the mineral water is bottled. Oliver decided it would be a good idea to spend the night there. In the morning he attended a spa session which relaxed him a lot.
Now the boy was ready for another trip. He decided to go to Miercurea Ciuc, Gheorgheni. He saw an old construction and decided to check it out. Oliver asked a local what that is and the man told him that it is a baroque monument. A Roman Catholic Church that has fortified walls. He decided to enter and saw a big altar. He was very fascinated by the architecture.

After a long drive, Oliver headed for The Red Lake. He took a lot of pictures there since the view was wonderful. He thought it would be a good idea to buy some souvenirs for his parents. After that, he headed all the way up to Toaca Peak in the Ceahlău Mountains. On his way to the top, he saw many beautiful birds. Oliver was exhausted after traveling the mountain route so he stopped in the town of Bicaz to rest. He had dinner there. Since he was starving he decided to order two kinds of food. The first one was seafood. He never tried it before but he didn’t like it very much so he got a pizza. The boy ate every bit of it and stayed in a nearby hotel.

After a long and refreshing sleep he went to visit the Bicaz dam. Oliver found out from the guide that the Bicaz dam is been holding 1.3 billion cubic meters of water for over sixty years. He also heard that there were needed over fifteen million humans to build it.
After the tour, he took the train and headed to the Fortress of Neamț, the only fortress in Romania that was not conquered by Ottomans. Oliver found out from the brochure that the fortress was included on the List of Historical Monuments of The city of Piatra Neamț.
After that, he went to a bus station that took him to the Ancuța’s Inn, a very popular building during the time of the nobles. He ate a traditional meal called Mici with mustard, which is grilled minced meat. He decided to spend the night there since the sun was already setting.2015.
In the morning, Oliver woke up just in time to catch the bus to a small commune named Tinetea, where Marshal Constantin Prezen is buried. Oliver heard from a man who lived near that he fought in the First World War on the fronts of Mărăști, Mărășești, and Oituz. Constantin was a platoon and army commander.
Oliver decided that he will visit one last place on his journey. He was in the Czech Republic, but from what he knew it was once called Czechoslovakia. So he thought to himself: "What about this other country, Slovakia ? I think this will be my next destination."
He boarded a plane to a city that he has never heard of. The name of the city was Poprad. Once he landed, the first thing that caught his eye were the majestic mountains called High Tatras.

From the airport, he took a taxi to the city center. The square was very beautiful with its Church of St. Egidius and fountain in front of it.
Suddenly he found himself lost, and said to himself:" I should ask for some directions. There are some young people there. I think will ask them."
Their names were Erik and Vanesa, and they were happy to help." Hi Oliver, it is pleasure to meet you. We are not from Poprad but from a small village called Spišský Štiavnik and there is not much to see there, so we think you are at the right place if you like adventure."

They told him that Poprad is very close to three National parks.
"I believe that you saw those beautiful mountains?" said Vanessa.
"We will take you there for a hike. I hope you like nature." said Erik.
So the next day, Oliver and his new friends visited Slovakia’s biggest national park - the High Tatras. They went on a hike to this cottage high in the mountains. Along the way, he saw beautiful nature that Slovakia offers. High mountain lakes, mountain peaks and Erik knew all their names, animals like chamois, marmots and even a bear.

After the hike, they were all very hungry, but Vanesa knew a great restaurant where they could go. It was a traditional Slovak restaurant. It was very interesting because the waitress was wearing very colourful clothes. Erik and Vanesa told him that it is a folk costume and every region has its own. They recommended Oliver to try Slovak national dish - Halušky. Dumplings, with sheep cheese and little bits of bacon. It was very tasty and Oliver was so hungry that he ate two full bowls.

On the last day of Oliver’s trip to Slovakia, Erik and Vanesa took him to a local aqua park - Aquacity Poprad. It is famous for its thermal springs.
The water in some pools was really hot, but it felt great. It was a very relaxing day, but also they had a lot of fun since there are a lot of waterslides there, and also they played some beach volleyball with other kids.

Finally, came the day when Oliver had to go home. He said goodbye to his friends and boarded the airplane home. As the plane lift of he had a big smile on his face.
"That was my greatest adventure yet. All the places that I have seen and all the friends that I have made. I will never forget them. I cannot wait to tell everything about this adventure to my family and friends."
