Hi my name is Kathleen swirl and this is my story of how I fell off my tree

It just felt like yesterday. I would just be eating nuts and all of a sudden, I felt shaking shaking shaking shaking! I saw leaves coming out, branches breaking off. Before you knew it the one, I was sitting under popped off.

What did I do next? what you would do when you are a tiny squirrel who was falling down  thousands of inches down to the ground. I screamed and I screamed, and I screamed, and I screamed. I screamed until I felt a thump and then I started rolling down the hill. Down down down I went.

By the time I got down to normal grassland level I was as dizzy as a top! I could barely stand up! And worst of all, the whole world seemed like it was spinning! And you might think that's bad but I lost all my nuts! To be honest I think I know what they went. Inside my brain. Cause I was going nuts!

At this point I thought cats were lucky to always be landing on their feet. That would have been useful for that long fall. Finally, I got my senses back and I realized I had no idea where my tree was! I was lost. that's when I spotted it, brown and furry yelling at the sky. Well, I think it was howling because it turned around and it was a dog!

I was just standing there in fear just raw fear. Y'all might say it's not a big deal it's just a dog. well, I'm an 8-inch squirrel! I don't want to be stumbling in front of a 2-foot 5-in dog! Then I got unstuck from the roots of the ground and I started to run. But the dog said "hey! Wait! What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be eating nuts on top of the trees, right?" "I wish I could be doing that right now instead of standing in front of a 2 foot 5 dog." i replied

I said "Well I was doing that but then my tree broke and I fell down the hill but then I came here." "Oh, I see, and you're lost?" The dog replied. "Yes, I'm very lost actually" I said. Then he said "Well I know a friend of mine who can help you." "Really!?" I exclaimed. "Yes, he just lives in those woods over there."

That word struck me like lightning. "You mean that dark and scary and creepy woods over there?" I said feeling a little tense. "Yes," the dog said "right over there don't worry you can stay in my place and wait for it to become much brighter. Then you can go inside the woods you should meet a small tent there should be cat inside there. Even though we're not friends she still helps me a lot. She will help you find wise old owl. He'll help you find a new tree with plenty of nuts."

     Chapter 2

The next day it was much brighter so I was able to go into the woods even though it was bright and early in the morning it felt like it was nighttime and I was casting for a horror movie! Man it was so creepy! finally after walking through the  dark tunnel taking in the fact that there could be a zombie or even a ghost lurking around every corner. I made it to the Hut the dog described. 

I knocked on the door and I realized that there wasn't even a door. So, I walked in there she was a waterish blue. And she looked like she just finished eating. I wonder what's on the menu. Then she said oh it's squirrel good thing I already had lunch don't worry it wasn't your cousins or anything just some fish. Well, that was a relief. I thought. Wacha wants old chump. Well dog said that you knew the way to wise old owl's place.

He did didn't he? Man they don't call him wise old out of nothing. I have tried to eat that champ for years! Really? I asked Yep for many many years. let's not get off track chap. So why are you here exactly? oh wait don't tell me you're here because you're looking for wise old owl's place. 

Yes, and we're wasting a lot of time talking. I spoke. Oh yes, I'm so sorry so actually how about I just take you down there I heard you don't have a lot of time. thanks, I said. Name's flicks by the way. My name is Kathleen. 

By the time the whole conversation was finished it was nighttime, so I decided to stay for the night. We woke up pretty late something may be up 10 or something I don't really know the sky looked like it was getting ready to go to afternoon so we quickly packed everything. # There was nothing to pack.

Then. we were on our way. She was very swift but quiet and easy to pass through all the trees I was very surprised although she is a cat and cats are very good athletes, I think. You know the ride was scary and bumpy there's only one good thing I got out of it. I found out that I was so scared about the dark woods that I didn't notice I had one more acorn still packed in my cheek.

I was so excited I spent half the whole ride slowly in bracing the fear and then the other half enjoying nice, delicious acorn we were really actually at wise old owl's place already but just at the clearing she told me that she was tired, and I had to do it myself.
