The challenge of our collaborative etwinning project is for each partner school to create its own mascot, which will present local products.

The mascots were brought to life together by the students and their teachers, inspired by their wonderful ideas.

Siora Anjolina lived in a beautiful island, the famous Corfu. She was a well-known countess, who loved the food and all the goodies that the island produced.

Beside her stands Pipis, a Corfu chef experienced with a range of cooking recipes.

He planned a trip as a surprise to visit their friends who live in other Greek and European places. Together they advertised their local products.

They boarded a plane, called the handsome Korfouli, which has travelled safely many times.

However, they were not alone on this journey, they had Agapi (Love), their sweet daughter, who was always travelling with her suitcase. A red heart that had been given to her by a group of creative children.

Their first stop was Cyprus. Where they met Kalamenia Kalathoula, from the Mediterranean Sea, a handmade construction made of flexible and long reeds. She was always filled with Cypriot products. It is said that those who try them, have been speechless.

Always by her side is her partner, Koko Kalathoulis, the Mediterranean.

They always carry around their local products and share them with the locals and the tourists.

Korfoulis was happy to see Siora Anjolina smiling. She was happy to meet their friends after a long time and they shared their secret recipes. When they complete their collection, they will share them with you.

Afterwards, they arrived at a beautiful and famous island of Crete. Known for its handsome men and rhyming songs, called mantinades. They were greeted by the black-haired Parisiana, whose grace and beauty met no match.

She was cooking local products in the small clay pot, called the Tsikali. Cretan recipes are healthy and very tasty.

Then they ate, drank and sang together. They promised to meet again soon to continue their "cooking" adventures.

Next stop was Samos, which is located in the Aegean Sea. Samos is the island where the famous Pythagoras lived. Samios the Pythagoras was looking forward to meet them with Fair Cup. Anyone could recognise Fair Cup by the blue hair and the round nose.

He knew a lot of secrets about nutrition which provide a lot of energy.

He shared these secrets with them and kindly asked them to make the Samian products known in places near and far.

The company travelled north to Kavala to meet other friends called Blue Peristera with her husband Constantinos.

They were so happy to see each other and share their stories.

Peristera offered them local products, that can be found in Macedonia. These were extremely tasty in recipes passed down from their drandmothers.

However Siora Anjolina and Pipis had to leave to meet their friends in Europe.

First stop is Romania to meet their dear couple Ana and Ion. They were cooks with a great reputation. Then they exchanged local products and tasty recipes.

Agapi wondered whether all this would fit in her suitcase, the red heart. She wanted to take everything with her: experiences, local products and "secret" ingredients for tasty recipes.

But now the journey ends. It is time to return. All they could feel was joy for spending time together with their loved ones.

Pipis made a promise to Siora Anjolina that they would soon have the opportunity to travel with Corfulis, visit their friends, eat, drink and hug each other like children do.
