Hello my name is Clark I'm a Computer Software
Engineer(systems). Today I'm going to show you
my daily routine for work, what exactly does a
Computer Software Engineer do and other
frequently asked questions.

Computer software engineers are responsible for designing,
developing, implementing and testing computer-based
hardware and software, including the components that are
found inside computer equipment, as well as the actual
devices that contain the computers and the software that
runs on those machines. They may also design networks
that connect computer systems, and work on integrating
software programs with computer hardware.

My typical day at work can be summed up in one word:
hectic! I typically work anywhere from eight to 14 hours
per day designing, coding, answering questions, and
providing guidance on an as-needed basis.

This is where I work its a small office filled with
important papers and a computer to program other
devices.

To become a computer engineer, I needed a bachelor of
science degree in computer engineering, computer science
or electrical engineering. Also to be successful in this field,
I need certain soft skills, or personal qualities. A
computer engineer must be inquisitive, analytical and
detail oriented. Good communication skills, both in
written and oral, are also important.

The average salary of a computer engineer in USA is
$89,000 per year (2013), which is 97% higher than the
average U.S. salary. A latest research found that new
college graduates can earn an average salary range of
$56,000 to $71,000 per year.

Computer System engineers are involved in many
hardware and software aspects of computing, from the
design of individual microprocessors, personal
computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design.
This field of engineering not only focuses on how
computer systems themselves work, but also how
they integrate into the larger picture.

I wanted this because I love to work around computers
and build these different useful programs that many
people can use.

Appropriate clothing for computer engineering is a
formal type of clothing.
