In the story, Mehmet was a rich and handsome boy in love with a beautiful but poor girl called Hacer.They were in love with eachother and always met under the apricot tree in the village without understanding how the time passing by.However, the other girls of the village were jealous of Hacer and wanted them to break up. The girls started to telling lies about Hacer and unfortunately Mehmet couldn't stand the gossips he heard,l eft the town by leaving Hacer and his mother in grief behind him.
Hacer, abandoned by her lover but still waiting in grief and hope, went by the brook flowing near her house everyday and sang a folk song while washing the laundry as white as snow and hanging the clean clothes on the fences.
She sang such loudly and beautifully the song everyday that the whole villagers recognized her voice when she sang and felt her grief in their hearts

The Kıpçaks, who form a large branch of the Turks, are also known as Kumans. The Yellow Bride is the daughter of a Christian Kıpçak Bey who has been living on the banks of the Çoruh River since ancient times. When he took off his shoes, he saw that Aşık Veysel gave him all his money. Realizing that she was going to run away, she left everything she had to her husband. She also found a piece of paper with a note in her shoes. The following is written on the paper: "Take this money as halal as your mother's white milk, don't let yourself be crushed wherever you go. The sad story of Zeynep
In old times,there lived in a village a beautiful and young gril named Zeynep.When she was 16,Zeynep went to a wedding and a boy named Ali liked her very much.After this event,Ali went to his own village and sent his family to Zeynep's village and asked for the girl to marry.Her family gave Zeynep to Ali.These two young people got married in a short time.
Zeynep's village was three days away from her family's village.So he couldn't visit her family often.Zeynep didn't see her family for seven years and started singing this folk song on the roofs of houses.This longing became a burden and then became unbearable.Ali's love for Zeynep started to diminish. He didn't care Zeynep.This caused her to fall ill.

When her parents heard Zeynep's illness,they came to visit her.Zeynep started to sing folk song again.It was too late for her family to come.Zeynep,who longed for her family very much, passes away.
