Once upon a time, in the Arctic, there was a polar bear called George. He was the most famous bear in the Arctic. He liked helping animals. One day, he saw an orca trapped in plastic, he jumped into the sea and helped the orca to escape. It was amazing! George didn’t like polar bear routines, such as waking up early, eating fish for breakfast, etc.

One morning, George and her little sister Lia were playing football, George kicked the ball and it went into the sea. When they caught the ball, they saw a big fish. When George and Lia fell into the sea, they were freezing. They were trying to get out of the sea, but they couldn’t get back.

They were starting to give up, but then the orca came and saved them and put them down on the ice. They said thanks to the orca and left. At home they were playing hide and seek, but when Lia went hiding, George was trying to find Lia, but he couldn’t find her. George was sad.

He tried to find her more. When he couldn’t find her, he went to ask from other polar bears.
They told him that ice had broken from under Lia and she had sailed far out into the Arctic sea on an ice floe.

George was very scared and very sad because his sister was sailing away…. he didn’t know what to do.
His sister Lia wasn’t scared but she was worried about going away from her loving family.
George decided to tell his parents about his missing sister Lia and what happened. So, he went straight home.

Sometime later…
George: Mum, dad …. I have some news. Can you help me? Are you there?
Mum: What’s the matter George?
Dad: Why are you shouting George?
George: Lia had an accident while we were playing hide and seek …

George's voice was like a whisper:
Ice had broken from under Lia and she had sailed far out into the Arctic sea on an ice floe.
Mum: Let’s go to find her.
Dad: Let’s go to find her and let’s ask at once all polar bears to join us. Let’s go!!!

First, they tried to find her by the shore, but they couldn’t see her anywhere. So, they called the orca and asked for help. The orca said: “OK. I’ll look further in the Northern ocean”.
Then, they decided to call the bears who lived on the other side of the Arctic. “Can you help us to find our daughter Lia, please?”

The bears agreed to help, too. They promised they would search for Lia. If they see her, they will transport her to the mainland.
After a long time of searching, they still couldn’t find her. Mum was very sad. She looked at the distance and suddenly she noticed something. She asked the orca to swim and look at it.

It was Lia. She was sitting on the ice floe. The orca pushed her all the way to the shore and the bears helped her to get to her family. The kids promised to be more careful next time. They were really happy to be reunited.
