Mario and Luigi were going on a pleasant walk through the Mushroom Kingdom until something terrible happened...

...Hundreds of portals were appearing everywhere! Mario and Luigi were being pulled hard by the portal near them, with no clue if anyone was safe.

Luigi was eventually pulled into the portal, then with Mario. Mario and Luigi both had no idea where they were headed.

Mario and Luigi were sent into a wormhole. Mario and Luigi ended up losing grasp of each other, so they got sent into different portals inside the wormhole.

Mario gets launched out of the portal into a random foggy valley. Mario has so many questions. "Is Luigi Ok?" "Where Is He?" "Where Am I?"

While Mario is exploring the mysterious place, he sees a portal, with Yoshi coming out! Mario is surprised to see one of his friends.

Mario asks Yoshi where he came from. Yoshi answers with, "I was eating my lunch, when a giant portal appeared in the middle of my house!"

Mario and Yoshi were walking along when they were hit by something invisible. Mario and Yoshi were both confused.

Mario and Yoshi realized what the creature was and needed to fight it.

Yoshi went for a ground pound, but he travelled straight through the creature. Mario then threw a punch at the creature but also missed!
