There was a small cottage in the middle of a deep forest and a small eleven-year-old boy named Jacob lived there with his family. One day, his father asked him:

 - Could you bring some wood? 

Your mum needs to cook lunch and we don’t have any wood.

Jacob took an axe and a basket and went to the back garden to chop the wood.

When he was coming there, he saw someone going on a road. Jacob hid behind a tree and he saw that it was a pretty teenage girl. She was riding a bike and she was carrying a bag.  

Suddenly, the girl stopped and put her bike on the ground. She looked around and went to the forest. It was strange. So, Jacob decided to check it. He came to the place where the girl stopped and he entered the forest. He looked around and saw the girl behind a rock. Jacob called at her: 

- What are you doing there?

When the girl heard him, she started to run away. He wanted to stop her, but she took her bike and rode away quickly.

Jacob realised that she wasn’t carrying the bag. It was very strange. He went to the rock. When he was coming nearer, he heard a noise. He looked on the ground and he saw the bag. The noise was coming from it. Jacob was scared, but he wanted to know what happened. He opened the bag and he saw a tiny white kitten. Jacob was shocked. The girl threw the poor kitten away. And if he didn’t come and open the bag, the kitten would die there. He didn’t know what to do. Maybe …

Jacob quickly took the bag and ran home to say what happened to his parents. When he arrived home, he told his parents what happened and they were shocked. 

His parents took the kitten to the vet to see its medical condition. 

The vet told his parents that the cat was sick and suggested that the cat should take medicine. His parents went to the village pharmacy to get the medicine and then rushed back home to give the medicine to the cat. The next day the girl came back to the boy’s house.

Jacob named the cat Catboss. The girl knocked on Jacob’s house’s door, and Jacob opened the door. 

- Give me the cat back now! - Said the girl.

- Yes, why did you abandon Catboss in the forest? -Said Jacob.

- Because she was an ugly cat.

- Okay, Then I will keep her.

And closed the door and went to sleep with Catboss. Then at night. Jacob has a nightmare and wakes up. He walks into the kitchen to get some water, and when he gets back, the window is open, and he can’t find Catboss.

Jacob runs out of the house to find the cat. He sees a tuna can, so he thinks that the girl took the cat.

He looks for the girl in the woods and finds an old house. He looks through the window and sees that the girl is not nice to the cat. 

He decides to call the police. When the police arrive they talk to the girl and as a penalty fee the girl has to clean the forest, otherwise she will go to jail and she has to give back the cat to Jacob.

Finally, Jacob keeps the cat and the forest is clean now.
