Niko Muskhelishvili
(1891–1976)
Niko Muskhelishvili was one of the founders and the first president of the Academy of Scientists of Georgia. His main works are on singular integral equations, mathematical physics and In the theory of elasticity.
His monograph "Some Basic Problems of the Mathematical Theory of Elasticity" has become a desk book for scientists. It was published several times and translated into many foreign languages, in 1941 it was awarded the first degree state prize. This work of Nikoloz Muskhelishvili, which is the crown of his scientific work, had a great influence on the further development of the theory of elasticity.
Andria Razmadze
(1889–1929)
Andria Razmadze was a Georgian mathematician, a pioneer of mathematical research in Georgia, one of the founders of Tbilisi State University. He was the first to read the basic course of mathematics, mechanics and physics in Georgian, wrote the first university textbooks in mathematics in Georgian, laid the foundation for Georgian mathematical terminology.
He published works in the main journals of Georgia and abroad and congress reports. His reports at the World Congress of Mathematicians are noteworthy. At his
suggestion, Georgia became a member of the International Union of Mathematicians in 1924 at the International Congress of Mathematicians.

Ilia Vekua
(1907–1977)
Ilia Vekua was a Georgian mathematician and mechanic. Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences and Georgian Academy of Sciences, President of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor.
He published the fundamental monograph "New Methods of Solving Elliptic Equations". At Tbilisi State University he established several new faculties, chairs, offices, created a problem laboratory of applied mathematics , which was equipped with modern technical equipment. Later, the Institute of Applied Mathematics was established on its basis, with Vekua as its director.

Viktor Kupradze
(1903–1985)
Viktor Kupradze was a Georgian mathematician, doctor of physics and mathematics, professor, academician of the Georgian Academy of Sciences.
Viktor Kupradze made a great contribution to the further development and perfection of a number of branches of mathematical science. He is the author of many fundamental investigations in mathematical physics and mechanics, which are collected in his numerous monographs.
Viktor Kupradze is the author of more than 100 scientific works.
