This book is a collaborative tale revealed by an eTwinning project during our virtual tour of the Natural History Museum of London.

Our kids were really impressed with the Museum's treasures and they inspired a story about their favorite exhibit, the dinosaur.

One day Maria's class were treated to a school-excursion to view dinosaur bones at the Natural History Museum. Maria was very excited with the dinosaurs and she wished that one of them was alive to learn about its life. The Wish Fairy who was at the museum too, heard Maria and decided to make her wish come true. She lifted her wand and the dinosaur came to life...

Its name was Dinolino....

While she was into the museum she heard a voice. Hey, Maria!!! Look at me!!!

My name is Dinolino!!! Maria looked at him with impression...and the dinosaur said:

"Once upon a time there was a dinosaur: me and I was living with my family into a cave in America.

I was enjoying my mother's hug and loved to play with my friends under the warm sun.

I was really happy.

I was purple, smiling, with sharp teeth and a huge tail.

One evening while I was lying down, fall asleep and when I woke up next morning, something scary had happened... I had no tail!!

Where is my tail??? I was wondering...

I felt so different.
I started to think that other dinosaur wouldn't want me. Did I lose my tail into the lake yesterday? Did the lion steal it from me? Well, it's probably a bad dream.

I had to find out what happened to my tail. Wise dino would have known if he knew the answer to this question. Something mysterious happened. The wise dino's glasses were on the ground. Or was the wise dino lost like the dino's tail?

The wise dino started to cry for help to find his glasses, but nobody answered. He tried again. Suddenly he heard a familiar voice. It was The Wish Fairy! I'm so happy you are here! I thought I was lost, like the tail... No, my dear. You aren't lost, here are your glasses, and if you want to find the tail, I will help you get back to the museum where Maria and all your friends could be with you and help you.
