I would like to dedicate this story to the two sweet second graders, Felicity and Cameron

Two cheerful and sweet second graders, named Felicity and Cameron, both greatly enjoyed the company of animals. Specifically, pigs. In fact, the two girls loved the sweet and charming creatures so much, they decided that a pig is what they would paint a picture of for the upcoming art show. The two girls worked together for weeks perfecting every little detail. They worked hard on making everything look as realistic and cute as they could. Everything from the turned-up nose to the tiny, curled tail had to look just right. Felicity and Cameron finished the artwork two days before the big art show. They were so excited to finally be able to display their final product.

The girls tucked the painting away into a teal bag with mint green stripes. They did this to protect the perfected picture from getting messed up before the art show. Also, to assure that no one would see it and ruin the surprise. With the painting safely secured, Felicity and Cameron walked to their art teacher's classroom. Once they arrived, they handed over the bag that contained their work and told their teacher to make sure it stays safe. She kindly assured the nervous girls that their hard work was being left in good hands and they had absolutely nothing to worry about. Content with their teachers reassuring words, the two made their way back to their classroom to catch up with math homework.

It was the next day at school, and Felicity and Cameron were getting more and more excited for the art show by the minute. They could not wait to see their work hung up with their friend's art, and to see their families smiles when they finally see the picture. The girls were sitting together at their desks when suddenly, their art teachers came frantically running in. The girls noticed her anxious behavior and asked her what was wrong.

Their teacher simply frowned and lowered her head. She then quietly admitted that she was unable to find their painting when she came into work today. She searched the entire art room and thinks it is possible the picture was stolen. The girl's hearts immediately broke and they wondered who would steal all of their hard work. They decided that it was up to them to find the painting, and whoever took it before the art show.

Determined to find the painting by the end of the day, the girls hurriedly began searching all around school. They thought the best place to start was the art room. The girls both agreed it was possible their clumsy art teacher may have just overlooked it in her frantic search. Felicity searched every drawer and cabinet inside the room, while Cameron went through the art supplies closet and their teacher's desk.
