There was once a chicken named Chicken Little
that lived in a little town named Acornville.
One day, he was walking home from school
and bumped into the mayors of Acornville.
Their names were the Fox and the Blind Cat.
“Good afternoon Mr. Mayors,” remarked
Chicken Little.
“Good afternoon to you too Chicken little,”
replied the mayors. When Chicken Little got
home, his father was waiting for him in his
rocking chair outside on the porch. His father
gave him a big hug.

“How was school today?” spoke his father.
“It was fine. How was your day?” stated
Chicken Little. His father gave him a bad look
and he trembled.
“Come inside I need to tell you something”
stuttered his father.
“Okay, what’s wrong dad?” asked Chicken
Little
“Well, son,” stuttered his father, “I went to the
doctor’s today. I only have four weeks to live
because I found out that I have skin cancer.
You will be living with your aunt and uncle
when I die because that will be the best for
you.” Than Chicken Little cried.

“Only four weeks?”
“Only four weeks.” Replied his father
The next morning Chicken Little was walking to
school when he walked past the mayors. The
mayors stated.
“Good morning Chicken Little.” Chicken Little
was silent of depression but the mayors belted.
“I said GOOD MORNING CHICKEN LITTLE!”
then Chicken Little looked up at the mayors
and groaned.

“Good Morning Mr. Mayors.” The mayors look
at Chicken Little and cried.
“What’s wrong Chicken Little?” Chicken Little
looked at the mayors and bawled.
“My father only has four weeks to live and I
don’t know what to do to help him.” The mayor
Fox looked at the Blind Cat and he grinned
when he was thinking a plan to trick Chicken
Little and put a curse on him. Than the Fox
whispered to the Blind Cat.

“We should trick Chicken Little by going to the
acorn tree that the acorns fall from and he will
think that the sky is falling. When we tell him that
and put a curse on him every time he says the
sky is falling, his nose will grow.” The both
nodded and looked at Chicken Little and spoke.
“Why don’t you go to the acorn tree and get an
acorn. Go and a make a pie and give it to your
father and it will heal him when he eats it. We
will go with you.”
So the mayors and Chicken Little went to the
acorn tree. Then when they were walking under
the tree Chicken Little got bumped on the head
by an acorn.

The mayors looked at the sky and yelled “THE
SKY IS FALLING!” Chicken Little look up at the
sky and he panicked then when he was not
looking the mayors casted a curse on Chicken
Little and then Chicken Little started running
for town with the acorn he found and yelled,
“THE SKY IS FALLING!” Then Chicken Little’s
nose started to grow. Then when he got to his
house he saw that his dad had died when he
got in the house and the police were at the
house a few seconds earlier and his aunt and
uncle were there to pick him up.

The next morning he was walking through
town and saw the mayors and they smirked.
“Good Morning Chicken Little. Is your father
okay?” Chicken Little looked up at the sky and
groaned.
“He died yesterday when I got home.” He
went off to the acorn tree and sat under the
branches and looked at the sky. Then, an
acorn fell on his head once again. Then he
yelled,
“THE SKY IS….wait what’s this?” He stopped
himself and he looked up in the sky as he
spoke.

“The sky is not falling. It was just an acorn?”
His nose started to shrink to his normal size
then he thought to himself that something was
strange and he came up to the mayors and
they spoke.
“Did the sky fall on you again Chicken Little?”
they both smiled at Chicken Little as he stated,
“No it was just an acorn. Why did my nose
grow when I said that then when I didn’t say it
shrunk?” Then the mayors went quiet and they
mumbled to Chicken Little,
