Ruby was sleeping in the tree house. Meanwhile Amber was out chasing mice. Ruby was a golden brown cairn terrier with shiney gold claws. Amber was a black cat with beautiful blue eyes. After 20 more minutes of chasing mice Amber decided to go inside with Ruby.

Amber jumped into the treehouse to find Ruby sleeping on the kitchen floor snoring. The clock struck midnight so Amber jumped into her bed and fell asleep. The next morning Amber got up yawned, then went to get water to throw on Ruby. that's what Amber does.

When Amber went into the kitchen, Ruby was not there. Amber looked in Ruby's bed, the living rom and the Entire tree house. But Ruby was not to be found. Then Amber spotted the door was wide open. Amber looked out the door and saw Ruby's foot prints they led to the deep dark endless forest. 

Amber jumped down from the treehouse. "Gulp im not going in there" said Amber turning back to the treehouse. After a while Amber started getting bored, the longer she waited the more tempted she got to go find Ruby. Amber finally decided to go into the woods. she grabbed her flashlight and dissapeared into the dark woods.

"Ruby?! Ruby??!!" calls Amber. there was no answer. Amber walks deeper into the woods. Suddenly Amber's flashlight flickers. "AHHHHH!!!" yells Amber "I'm out of here" said Amber turning around. It only took a couple minutes for Amber to find out that she was lost. 

After hours of looking for Ruby...  or home Amber starts getting tired. Amber curls up by a tree and calls it a day. The next morning Amber got up then started looking for Ruby.

Amber walks for a while then she sits against a cold oak tree. Amber thinks about how she is in the dark woods alone, hungry and thirsty. Amber gets really hungry so now she mostly looks for food. Amber walks around looking for some sort of food.

Amber climbs a tree to look for home or Ruby, but Amber is in the middle of the forest. Suddenly Amber hears water flowing. Amber followed the sound until she got to the river. Amber's first thought was "FISH!!!"
