        It was a summer night when everyone was happy and I was verry quiet as if had chosen the rich but unhappy in life. I wanted to have fun once for a day, I was crushed by my will.

      I organized a birthday party at my home and I invited my work colleagues, my friends and some relatives.My best friends John, a famous detective, came to the party and after giving me his gift he said: "There's something souspicious among the guests..."

      "Come on, dude! It is a masquarade ball." I said. He asked me how I would know that these people were the ones I invited. 

     Then I started to worry. He was a dedective after all and I had to trust his instincts.

    How could there be any doubt among the guests? While I was watching the guests, something caught my eye. It was a mask I knew, how could I remember it? It was the same dress and mask that my friend wore at the masqueare ball in high school years ago. I was very curious and went to that person. I wonder if he was the person I thought he was? I went to him trembling and then touched his shoulder.

      I asked him to take off his mask and when he did, the person I saw was the person I thought. The person I didn't invite to the masquerare but knew very well was Frank. He was my best friend in high school years ago, until the 11th grade.

     "It's been a long time." he said casually. I said "Yes." and asked if he is someone's guest. This time, with a more relaxed attitude, "Do I need to be someone's guest?" said Frank. Because I couldn't say "Of course you do." there has been a silence and he said he was with Carol. I said "Have fun." and left.
