Pinewood Middle School

          I am Jessica, the most popular girl at Pinewood Middle 

School. Well of course I am, I'm cute, adorable, and I have every 

awesome quality you can think about. Plus, I have the BEST 

fashion sense in the entire school. At last that was the way it was 

LAST year. Now,I have one obstacle in my way that can take all 

what I have now and more. Can you guess what it is? Or should I 

say WHO it is. Well, it's the " new girl " Alexa, I never really liked 

new girls to start with because they always meant nothing but 

trouble. Oh but not just any type of trouble, they cause the worst 

type of trouble. You might ask why I'm so ticked off by them, well 

I'll tell you why. They usually attract a lot of attention sometimes 

good, and sometimes bad. They also get to start off with a clean 

slate, so they have a really good chance of getting the best 

reputation in the school, which can lead to anyone of them able to 

come take my place as the popular girl anytime, that's what I 

worry about. Worst thing is that this Alexa girl is prettier than me 

which already brings her one step up in the game.

    I've definitely talked to my entourage about this, and I may 

or may not have convinced them to agree with me. One thing I 

don't like about her is that she is really rude! For example, 

when I was casually walking by the water fountain, Alexa was 

getting a drink and then "accidentally" sprays the water all over 

me. Plus, she even has the nerve to come up to me and say 

"I'm so sorry" so innocently when I know that she did it on 

purpose. But every time I try to mention it to people they don't 

want to hear it. Everybody is convinced that she is the nicest 

person in the world. Although everybody might be convinced 

that she is the best student ever, I have an amazing plan that 

will get Alexa off the radar and will get me back my right full 

spot as the popular girl.  

  After the amazing plan....

  I can't believe it! My plan didn't work. How could this happen? I 

specifically remember doing every part of the plan perfectly. I 

walked over to the water fountain at the same time that Alexa was 

leaving and "accidentally" sprayed the water at her. What? She did 

the exact same thing to me. But, instead of everyone laughing at 

her and making her totally embarrassed, everybody started giving 

me the evil stare and various people headed towards Alexa to 

comfort her.

    My plans have never not worked before and even worse they 

have never backfired on me, this is so weird. I felt hot tears come 

to my eyes and without a doubt I fled to the washroom, I was not 

going to embarrass myself even more than I already have. I waited 

for few minutes expecting my friends to come looking after me, but 

they never showed up. I decided that there was no use of staying in 

the bathroom so I left. When I met them in the hallway on the way 

to my locker, I went over to them and asked them why they didn't 

come after me, we are friends after all right? I could not believe the 

response I got from them. They looked me up and down like 

something they just saw on the side of the street! After the 

awkward and very rude staring, they simply replied by saying:" We 

are not friends with fakers and such self-centered people like you!" 

I felt as if someone has just stabbed me in the back, how could 

they betray me like that! At that moment I felt like there was 

nothing left to do but hide myself from this evil world that I had 

just walked into.
