This week I visited Portugal and it was the greatest week ever! Here are some of the important events:
Day #1 – We went to school and we played some funny games prepared by the different countries. We also went on a peddy- paper and city tour around Póvoa de Varzim.
Day#2 – We went to a festival in Porto and we enjoyed a boat trip in river Douro. It was really fun!
Day#3 – We went to Porto again. This time we visited a theatre /museum were people showed us how to make puppets and play with them. Then we visited some monuments.
Day#4 – Today we went to school. We had some rehearsals for our drama performance. Then I decided to write this message.
Portugal is, really, an amazing country. We can find superb places, delicious food … The people are Kind and friendly. I think you should join Erasmus+ projects so that you can by yourself experience amazing countries, places and people.
George - Romania

First, we came to Póvoa de Varzim and met our hosts. Then, the next day, on Monday, we went to school and played some language games with our new friends. In the afternoon we went to a theatre to attend a drama workshop. After that we had a trip around the city with a questionnaire.
On Tuesday morning we rehearsed for the school plays. Then we went on a boat trip in Porto. That was fascinating.
On Wednesday we went to Porto again and we stayed there the whole day. We built puppets, which was really fun. We had pizza for lunch. While we were walking around the city, we bought some souvenirs.
Muhammed – Turkey

The flight to Porto was great although we lost our suitcases. We really liked the peddy paper in Póvoa de Varzim because we love this kind of activities. We found the boat trip amazing as we can’t do that in our home town. We also enjoyed making puppets; it was a unique experience. Portuguese people are so nice, too!

I like travelling, so I love this project as I want to make new friends. Portugal is wonderful, my favourite place is Porto – The Puppet Museum is amazing. Portugal is a beautiful country with many delicious foods that I tasted and many others I want to try. I hope I will visit Portugal again!
Jana – North Macedonia
My favourite part of this project was the friendship that I made with the students from the other countries. I also liked the trip to Porto; it’s an amazing city with lots of beautiful buildings.
Teona – North Macedonia
This week I’m in Póvoa de Varzim, in Portugal, where a lot has happened. After a cancelled flight and a long wait at airports I finally arrived at my Portuguese friend’s place. Her parents received me very well and I felt at home.
On the first day I went to school where we had nice different activities, then I went around the city to get to know it. On the next days we were in Porto where we went on a boat trip and visited the Puppet Museum.
It has been a very nice experience since I’ve lived with another family in a different beautiful country.
Mirela - Romania

The thing I liked most in this Erasmus+ project was hanging out with new friends without the teachers, because we were together as friends and it was cool! If you can participate in these Erasmus+ projects, do it! I love the friends I made!
Mariana Reis - Portugal
This week I was in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, a nice city. I stayed at my friend’s house, Dario. When I arrived, I met his family, they are all so nice! On the following days I went to school where I met new friends from other countries and where we experienced new games and drama workshops. I had so much fun!
Ramy - Romania
I love this project because I love travelling and meeting new friends. I also love studying new cultures. I love Portugal because this is one of the most beautiful countries for me. My favourite experience so far was in Porto - a boat trip. I find it very interesting when we have different activities. The school looks also fantastic.
I’m sorry that all of this will end. I hope someday I will return to Portugal.
Bojan - North Macedonia
In Portugal I met new friends and I had the experience of staying with a different family. What I liked most was the visit to the Puppet Theatre and Museum in Porto. It was also very nice the trip by boat we had in river Douro, it was really beautiful.
In Póvoa de Varzim I met my friend Alice and I stayed at her house. It was very nice meeting her parents and her brother, Lucas. Now I only have two days left, but I want to stay longer, unfortunately I can’t.
It has been such a beautiful experience. I love Portugal and my new friends.
Teo - Romania

This week our school welcomed five Erasmus+ delegations. For the first time, I hosted a student at home; she is from Turkey. It was a completely innovative experience, because during a week I lived with a person from a different culture. I think the goal of project has been achieved: interact with other people and make new friends! The things that I liked most were the boat cruise in Porto and the meals: we could be all together so it was really nice. I hope I can try repeat this experience again!
Ana Clara Duarte – Portugal

This week was incredible because it was so much fun! The school is very nice. On the first day there was a cool opening ceremony and a games session. The next day we went to Porto; it is such a very beautiful city that I would have liked to stay there longer; we also went on a boat ride and it was really great! We also visited a puppet museum and theatre, which left only ten minutes to go shopping. Now I’m kind of sad because we are leaving Portugal soon, but I’m sure I will come back here again!
Denise - Romania

I love this project because I love meeting new friends. Here in Póvoa de Varzim I met a lot of new friends. My best friend is from Romania; his name is Ramy. My favourite place in Póvoa is the beach.
Damjan- North Macedonia

Eymer end Efe – Turkey
The things I liked most in this Erasmus+ project were meeting people from other countries and interacting as if we all spoke the same language and our origin didn’t matter. I also enjoyed the trip to Porto and showing a little bit of our culture during this week. I’m sure that those who take part in Erasmus+ mobilities will never forget such magnificent adventure. This is a feeling that you can’t describe, you have to live it to know how I felt during this week. I will miss all of them a lot and I also hope to see them next year and create new memories with old and new friends. Thank you all!
