Τα παιδιά στην αυλή παρατηρούσαν τις κολόνες που ήταν δύο ως τον λατινικό αριθμό ΙΙ. Έπειτα είδαν ψηλά στον ουρανό τα πουλιά που πετούσαν σε δύο  σειρές σαν το λατινικό ΙΙ. Δύο δέντρα δίπλα δίπλα έμοιαζαν με τον λατινικό αριθμό ΙΙ.

The children in the courtyard observed the pillars which were two as the Latin number II. Then they saw high in the sky the birds flying in two rows like the Latin number II. Two trees side by side looked like the Latin number II.

The activity of discovering roman numerals in nature was very enjoyable. They used the stones to express the four fruits they saw on the tree with Roman numerals

    Yemyeşil bir ormanın içinde, doğayla baş başa olan okullarının bahçesinde basket maçı yapan çocuklar skor tablosunda 5 rakamını görünce, bir önceki dersleri olan Matematikte yaptıkları küplerle Romen Rakamı ile 5 yazdılar. Sevinçlerini herkesle paylaştılar.

    The students at the school garden in the forest was playing basketball match while they were looking to the score board, they saw the number 5 and after it they wrote number 5 with romen numbers with the cubes that they made at the previous math lesson. They shared their happines with everyone.

Then we learned the equivalent of the Roman Numerals to the modern numbers.

Finally, we found, on the internet, three famous clocks around the world which use Roman Numerals: "The Big Ben" in London, "The Prague Astronomical Clock", and "The Trump Tower Clock" in New York City,

Kasutasime ära mõnusa (kuigi tuulise) ilma ja läksime õue lugusid jutustama. Enne seda olime rääkinud Rooma numbrite tekkeloost ja kasutamisest tänapäeval. Iga meeskond pidi välja mõtlema loo, kus oli kas tegelaseks või mõneks elemendiks XIII. Fantaasialend oli uskumatu!

We took advantage of the nice (albeit windy) weather and went outside to tell stories. Before that, we had talked about the history of Roman numerals and their use today. Each team had to come up with a story that either had XIII as a character or some element. Flight of Fantasy was incredible!

 Συζητήσαμε για του λατινικούς αριθμούς και μας άρεσαν πολύ. Κάναμε πολλούς συνδυασμούς και σκεφτήκαμε ότι θα είχε πολύ ενδιαφέρον να φτιάξουμε το νούμερο 10 με τα σώματά μας. Ήταν υπέροχα!!!

We talked about the roman numerals and we really liked them. We did a lot of combinations and thought it would be very interesting to make the number 10 with our bodies. It was great!!!

Στο σχολείο μας έχουμε ένα ρολόι, αλλά στη θέση των αριθμών έχει κάτι παράξενα σύμβολα. Η δασκάλα μας μας είπε ότι αυτά τα παράξενα σύμβολα είναι λατινικοί αριθμοί. Έτσι αποφασίσαμε κι εμείς να δημιουργήσουμε τα δικά μας ρομανικά ρολόγια.

In our school we have a clock, but instead of numbers it has some strange symbols. Our teacher told us that these symbols are Latin numbers. So we decided to create our own Roman watches.

Roma rəqəmlərinin yaranma tarixini araşdıran şagird qrupu Azərbaycanın qədim adət-ənənəsini əks etdirən "Novruz bayramının" simvolları ilə XV ədədini yazdılar. Beləcə uşaqlar araşdırmanı tamamladılar. Bunu edərkən uşaqlar çox əyləndilər.

A group of children researching the history of the creation of Roman numerals wrote the number XV with the symbols of "Nowruz holiday" reflecting the ancient traditions of Azerbaijan. So the children completed their research. The kids had so much fun doing it.

My students worked in groups, researched about Roman numerals, and their application in today's life. They drafted a Roman soldier according to steps given in Roman numerals.

Havaların ısınmasıyla birlikte, bahçede oyun oynamak daha da keyifliydi. Günlük hayatta matematiği her alanda kullandığımızı da ispatlamış olduk.Derslerde oyunlarda romen rakamıyla 19 yazıverdik.

As the weather got warmer, playing in the garden became even more enjoyable. In fact, we have proven that we use mathematics in every field in daily life. We wrote the number19 Roman numerals with the pins we used in the games.
