"Now what,I don't want to die here"I cried 

staring at the look on Krista's face. I could see 

that she was horrified too. Sweat was running 

down my chin and I didn’t know what to do.       

1 week ago, “Mom I’m going to be late ,where’s 

my lunch” I shouted. “It’s right on the table, 

dear” mom shouted back. I took the lunch and 

went to school. In school, Krista my best friend 

came trotting towards me. “Hi, Abby, you are 

late as usual”. “I know.”I replied irritated by 

hearing her say this sentence everyday.. The 

bell rang and we were about to go to class when 

Krista’s dog Sam came running in. Our school 

allow’s pet’s but if the pet does something 

wrong then the owner get’s the punished. 

Krista is used to getting punished because   Sam has 

been a pain to everyone including the staff. Once Sam 

chased a staff member all across the ground ,took the 

trashcan from his hands and came in Krista’s class with 

the trashcan. Anyway, today me and Krista were going 

to hang out at my place. After school, as planned we 

went to my house and Jack and Edward my neighbors 

joined us. We hadn't decided what to do yet when 

suddenly a card game caught my eye. I went near it 

and read the title “Another Life”. After reading the title I 

suggested that we should play this card game. Since we 

had no better suggestions, we all agreed to play this 

game. We read the instructions and started. On the 

cards there were drawings of creatures and other things 

that don’t exist. We shuffled the cards in four decks, 

creature, strategy, power and attack . I did the first turn 

and took a card from the first deck called creature.

My hand was trembling but when I glared at the card, a 

smile of joy came on my face because it was a drawing 

of a Fairy.Which meant that I was playing as a Blue 

Fairy. Then it was Krista’s turn and she was playing as a 

mermaid. Then Jack did his turn and he was playing as a 

Krel, a mystical, ugly creature. Edward was playing as a 

wizard. Then we picked a strategy card one by one. 

These strategy cards had numbers on them. We all did 

our turns and in the end I raised my fists in the air full of 

joy because i was the strongest. Suddenly, we heard 

thundering and raining outside. Just a minute ago, I 

checked the weather and it was sunny. I went outside, 

Jack, Edward and Krista close behind me. As soon as I 

stepped outside the rain stopped and the sky was clear. 

Now my mind was a big jumble of questions like were we 

just imagining it? But no,there was no way 4 people 

would have imagined the same thing together.

Krista asked"Abby, what just happened?""There was a 

storm and now there isn't..."Jack replied confused. 

Edward said"Something is wrong, let's just go back 

inside."We all turned back and I stopped breathing 

because something was definitely wrong.The whole 

house had disappeared.Except for a door that I had 

never seen before."Is it only me or is everyone seeing 

that?"I uttered solemly. Jack remarked"well, I don't 

know about anyone else but I can see this weird door.

let's go inside"."No way"I declared. "Why are you afraid, 

well i'm sure not.Come on Edward, let's go"Jack insisted. 

He was right I am afraid, I mean we are just a bunch of  

6th graders.Krista tried to stop them"Abby's right,we 

shouldn't go in there".Jack and Edward were about to 

step in when I spoke"Okay we are coming with 

you."Krista uttered"We are, I mean we are."Jack and 

Edward went in.

 Krista stared at me angrily for telling them that we are 

coming with them but i couldn't just let them go alone. 

Krista and I took a step inside and I stood frozen in 

shock with jack beside me. We were on a beach and 

guess what was in the sea.You guessed it, mermaids. 

There were real life mermaids right infront of me. There 

was even a castle on top of a hill but the door that lead 

us here had vanished.Edward said"This is so cool".Krista 

asked"Sorry to ruin your magical moment but where are 

we?I announced"not in California anymore is what I can  

tell you".Suddenly, A bunch of knights came marching 

towards us and moved their sharp spears Under our 

chins. They asked us"Who are you? and Why are you 

here?"We told them our names but they didn't seem to 

believe us.The next thing I know, they take us to their 

king. They had a little talk with the King. 

Krista whispered to me"What do you think   they are 

going to do to us?""I don't know"I whispered back. Then 

the guards finished talking and the King declared"Seize 

them""No wait"Edward shouted."We are innocent" Jack 

added.I wanted to run but I couldn't.I could feel my 

heart beat getting faster when a fairy came into view 

and stopped the king from seizing us.The blue fairy 

said"King Arthur, I brought these kids here.They are not 

from this world they are from another planet called 

Earth.Please forgive me,I didn't mean to bring them 

here.They are harmless so please let them go.The king 

demanded"Very well,I will let these children go if you 

promise me to find a way to get these children back to 

their planet as this place isn't meant for them."Thank 

you your Majesty"The fairy gave a sigh of relief."Come 

children, follow me"the fairy insisted.Edward 

asked"Should we follow her?".

We all followed her.The Blue Fairy took us outside and 

said"Kids we have to get you out of here,you have no 

idea about the dangers that lie beyond this world of 

Narnia.""How did we get here?"Krista asked.The fairy 

explained"We fairies have been working on making a 

transportation door but the power of the door was so 

much that the door vanished to your world which led 

you straight to us"."Was there a box with it?"Krista 

asked.The fairy replied"Yes,the box activates the door" 

"So how will we get back?"I uttered."It will take us time 

to rebuild the door,until then you all will stay with me 

and also stay out of trouble because there is going to be 

a war after 3 days"the fairy mentioned.Jack 

asked"Exactly when will the door be build?".The fairy 

replied"In 3 days".Krista told"That's when the war 

starts""That's when the war ends"the fairy corrected.

The blue fairy took us to her house,which was a huge 

mansion.All the fairies lived here."It's like i'm in a 

dream"Edward said.The fairy led us to our rooms.We 

wanted to explore before leaving so we went to the 

waterfall,the prettiest place of all. There were beautiful 

mermaids and merman's over there.
