Chapter 1

One morning, a girl named Abby Moore was walking down the street. Her neighbor, Bill Hangingman, was looking greenish. His wife, Marylin, came out the door. “Dear, you look quite green. Is everything ok?” She said in worry. Bill started to run up very fast. “Oh dear that was faAHHH-” She got tackled to the ground. All Abby heard was screaming and munching. She went to look and saw they were zombies! “AHHHHH!” she shouted. She started to run. She saw people being eaten by other people. When she got home, she was in shock and despair. because her own parents were zombies.

She ran to her room as fast as she could. She barricaded the door with anything heavy she could find. Then, she climbed on her bed, curled up, and cried. 2 months later, she had eaten everything in her mini-fridge. So, she went to get food. She brought a bat for protection. But before she opened the door, she saw soldiers walking in! “Soldier 4 to Base Camp, there are no survivors. Over.” the man said. “Base Camp to Soldier 4, check all the rooms and closets. Over.” the walkie talkie said. “Copy that, Base Camp.” the soldier said. He went into Tom's room first. All Abby heard was a gunshot and a body collapsing. She peeked outside and saw a gun bullet on the ground. She looked in Tom's room and saw him with a gun and a scared face. ”A-Abby?” Tom said with fear and shock.

Tom said with fear and shock. “T-Tom?” Abby said with the same feelings. They both hugged each other. “We gotta scoot. More soldiers are bound to come.” Tom told Abby. “Ok, but first we should get gear and food.” Abby told him. “Yeah that makes sense.” Tom said. They geared up and headed for the door. They saw the chaos and destruction that the zombies had caused over the last 2 months. “Let's go.” Tom whispered. Abby nodded. They tiptoed out of the house and saw that a zombie was next to them the whole time. “Oh crap!” They both yelled. They had to run for their lives. They quickly found out that the zombies could reach speeds up to 2 times the speed of a human! Abby and Tom soon found that they were completely surrounded by zombies! 

Chapter 2

They had nowhere to go. They were going to be devoured. “Tom, you better have something to help us or we’re gonna be devoured!” Abby shouted in fear. “I have a GUN!” Tom shouted in happiness. He was shooting non-stop until all the zombies were gone. He handed Abby a pistol. They managed to kill all the zombies within a matter of minutes. They checked the house for survivors. They found no one until the 32nd house. "Tom, look!" Abby shouted. There was a baby on the ground, crying. Tom picked it up. "Shhh, it's ok, its ok." Tom tried to  calm it down. But the baby wouldn't stop crying. Abby told Tom that they should take the baby with them. Tom agreed. They searched the house for a baby carrier.

Once they found one, they put the baby in and left their hometown. They started to run. While they were running, Tom had to tell Abby something that she needed to know. "Abby, you may not like this, but we need to go see Cousin Philly. You know, the one who's a total nutcase." Tom told her. "WHAT?! You know how I feel about him!" She shouted at him. "WAAAA!" The baby started to cry again. "Abby! You made it cry!" Tom yelled. "Well, sorry!" Abby shouted back. They got into a argument. Soon after, a person came. They didn't notice. "What's wrong, youngsters?" the man said. "AHH!" they both screamed. They looked at the man. He was fine. No zombie bites, no scars, no bleeding scratches. They thought he was going to betray them, so they didn't let their guard down. They

soon realized that the man just needed a friend and was alone, just like them. "So, what brings ya to these parts?" he asked Tom and Abby. "Uhm, we are trying to find the way to stop the apocalypse. What about you?" Tom asked the man. He didn't respond. He looked down at the ground, looking sad and not brave enough to tell them. Then, he started to tell them that he wanted to see if his family was still alive. He told them that when he found that the apocalypse was happening, his family was taken by a helicopter. The pilot didn't know that the man was the dad of the family. So, he decided from that day on, he would explore until he found his family. By the time the man was done talking, they found themselves in a town of real, alive people! Then, they saw Philly's house!

Chapter 3

When they saw Philly's house, they had been filled with joy. But then, they saw a grave by his house. They were worried, thinking that it was Philly's grave. "What's the matter?" Philly said. They stopped crying and ran towards him. They hugged him until he spit out his noodles. "Wait, where the what did you get noodles?" Abby asked him. "What the what are you doing with that baby on Tom's back?" He asked
