To my teacher Miss Nerise, that influenced me to make this book, and my family and peers that gave me positive advice and feedback.

"Aw, look at how cute that dog is Stan." "What dog? " Said Stan rather rudely. That lonely cute poodle!" Replied Lily. Lily was Stan's younger sister. She was six and Stan was twelve. They loved walking in Burn-wood forest. They always found a new animal to keep.
The two siblings lived in a cottage nearby the forest of Burn-wood. As the two ran home with a muddy dog in their hands, their mother was yelling for them. "Where have you two been!?" "Burn-wood forest." Replied the both. "Again!?" "And oh what a lovely dog!"

"Scrub the dog clean because you could catch germs" Exclaimed Mum. As soon as Stan and Lily got in the house to give it a bath, Stan whispered to Lily, "I would not be surprised if our neighbours from five miles away did not hear mum. "Shh, she might hear us!"

Time flew by and now what they called Puffy the poodle was growing older. His fluff grew grey and Lily started to think the dog was bad. She was thinking of a plan to get rid of him, and then it clicked in her brain. But it was dangerous and horrible...
She had her own private boat. The next day Lily secretly placed Puffy the old poodle on a rock in the middle of the dark ocean. Lily was quite frightened of entering the dark ocean, but wanted to get the story of the poodle done and over with.

Puffy could feel all the love around him absorbed into the grey cloudy sky above.
He knew some thing was wrong. He shivered and started yelping for help.
Back at school the next day, Lily's friend in her class Shankia kept telling anyone that could listen that she went into the dark ocean. She even said that she found a white fluffy poodle. Lily knew that It could have been Puffy.
Shankia even mentioned to every body that listened that she found the dog yelping and shivering from the cold. That made Lily feel so bad. She just felt like she wanted to change time and bring Puffy back.
