What does sugar glucose represent ?
A):monosaccharide
B):disaccharide
C):polysaccharide
The correct answer would be A)
Monosaccharide which is the most basic units
of carbohydrates. They are the simplest form of
sugar and are usually colorless, water-soluble,
crystalline solids. Some monosaccharides have
a sweet taste. Examples of monosaccharides
include glucose (dextrose), fructose and
galactose.

Plants and Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis takes place inside plant cells in
small things called chloroplasts. Chloroplasts
(mostly found in the mesophyll layer) contain a
green substance called chlorophyll. Below are
the other parts of the cell that work with the
chloroplast to make photosynthesis happen.

source of the carbon in the sugars made by
plants
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) from the air.
CO2+H2O-->H6C12O6+O2 is the fomula

what reactant in photosynthesis does the oxygen
released plants comes?
Photosynthesis. Using the suns energy green
plants convert carbon dioxide and water into
simple sugars and oxygen. Along with carbon
dioxide, plants also need water, which is gathered
by the plants roots, to make food through the
process of photosynthesis. The stomata allows
oxygen to be released through this process. This
oxygen is an important exchange for all living
things. Plants take in the carbon dioxide and give
off the oxygen that we need in order to breathe

what organelle does photosynthesis occur?
The inner area of a chloroplast where the light-
independent reactions occur. The stroma is the
water-based, fluid-filled area of the
chloroplast. Thylakoid. A membrane-bound
compartment inside of the chloroplast where
the light-dependent reactions of
photosynthesis occur.

Where do plants get the energy for
photosynthesis?
the energy is harvested from the sun or any
source of light that alerts the plant's light
reactors, which turns it to chemical energy
which will be in a Glycosidic bond formed from
the water and the carbon dioxide it has taken
during the earlier stage of Photosynthesis.

Where is this energy stored in glucose?
the break down of glucose process called
glycolysis creates ATP, cells energy
source, along with co factors used in the
electron transport chain to also make ATP

process that breaks down sugars to release
energy to do cellular work.
Cells first undergo glycolysis, where sugars are
broken down into Pyruvic Acid. That pyruvic
acid is used in two forms of processes: aerobic
and anaerobic respiration, which use oxygen
and no oxygen respectively. Aerobic
Respiration is what the human body relies on
since it creates the most ATP.
