A cheetah was next to a tree, down in the dumps. The cheetah couldn't run, not like other cheetahs. If he tried, he was slow. The cheetah tried his whole life, but it didn't work, it never did, he couldn't run. He was starting to give up but then he got an idea.

"What if I ask other animals...?" Cheetah thought. "Who should I ask?" He wondered, "A snail?" "No.." He continued thinking, "A sloth?" "No. A Lion...?" "Yes!" He thought, "A Lion!" He wondered off into the wilderness in hopes to find a lion. And after a while, he found one, he found a lion. 

"Hello, Lion." Cheetah said. Lion greeted him back, "Hello, Cheetah." Cheetah asked Lion, "Can you help me?" The lion replied, "With what, Cheetah?" Cheetah answered, "I can't run." The lion responded, "I'm sorry but no, I feel like if you can't run than you shouldn't."

The cheetah sadly said, "Oh." He walked away, but he was never going to back down or give up. He wondered who he should ask next, "A turtle...?" "No.." He wondered, "A cow...? No. A Tiger? Yes!" "A tiger!" He said, then he wondered off into the distance to find a tiger.

"Hello, Tiger." Cheetah greeted.

  "Hello.'' Tiger greeted back, "Do you need something...?" Cheetah responded, "Yes. I can't run, can you help me?"

"Train, Cheetah. You need to train." Tiger directed. The cheetah responded, 

"But I can't!" "I've been trying my whole life." The tiger said, "Then I can't help you."  The cheetah sadly said, "Oh..." And wondered off.

After a while Cheetah found another animal, a bear. "Hello, bear!" Cheetah greeted. "Hello, Cheetah." Bear greeted back. "I need help." Cheetah stated. "I can't run."

"So..?" The bear questioned, "Why do you need to run?" The cheetah was confused, "So I can be like other cheetahs." Cheetah said. "You don't need to be like other cheetahs." Bear said. "Oh..." Cheetah said sadly, and walked off.
