In the top of the tallest most treacherous and
terrifying palm tree lives a orangutan. The orangutan
didn't have any friends or family, it was just him all
alone in the jungle. Apart from the beautiful birds that
lived in these parts.

The orangutan had just woken up when he heard
something in the distance. He looked up and saw other
tall treacherous and terrifying palm trees falling down.
‘He thought to himself what is that?’ So he climbed
down the tallest treacherous and terrifying palm tree to
get a little closer. As he got closer he started to hear
some strange noises. He looked up and saw a huge and
scary looking machine. It scared the orangutan so much
he ran all the way back to the top of the tallest most
treacherous and terrifying palm tree.

He sat there for three days and nights until he was
starting to get bored and very hungry. He was just
about to climb down when he realised all the other tall
and most treacherous terrifying palm trees around him
were all gone. He looked all around for ages, he was in
so much shock. He looked at a tiny, tincey twig and saw
a scaly, slippery and smelly lizard. “Why are they
chopping down all the tall and most treacherous and
terrifying palm trees?”
The scaly, slippery and smelly lizard said “For palm oil”
The orangutan said, “What’s palm oil”
“Palm oil is a oil that is in pretty much everything and its
awfully cheap”
“That’s terrible”
The orangutan left the scaly, slippery and smelly lizard
left his home and ran for hours, tears wetting his cheeks
his heart very heavy indeed.

Finally the orangutan found a tall treacherous and
terrifying palm tree suitable for him to stay for a while.
He stayed there for two weeks. But each time he looked
up he saw the wave of trees falling down creeping closer
and closer towards him. The orangutan kept changing
homes for 4 months. He finally thought to himself that,
that was enough. He slowly climbed down his tall
treacherous and terrifying palm tree and walked towards
the wave of falling trees. As he got closer he got closer
he was being careful not to be seen by the humans. He
started to hear the sounds of the huge and scary
bulldozers. This time he was much more courageous and
he kept going closer.
