This is a story of Goldilocks and the three magical 

shapes. We all know about Goldilocks and the three 

bears, but not many people know about what 

happened after Goldilocks ran away!

As the story goes, Goldilocks was sound asleep in little 

Bears bed, and she was so afraid that she jumped out of 

the window and ran all the way home. She was so 

frightened! Would you be afraid if little bear found you 

sleeping in his bed? I would be! 

But Little Bear felt bad about scaring Goldilocks, he 

didn't mean to scare her! He told Papa Bear and 

Mumma Bear that he wanted to say sorry to 

Goldilocks, so they decided to walk to Goldilocks’ 

house.

When they found Goldilocks in her house, she was very 

scared, but little Bear said, “We just came to say sorry 

for giving you a fright! We want to show you these magical 

shapes! We hope you accept our apology.”

Goldilocks was so surprised, and she wondered, “What 

are these magical shapes they have? They are flat.”

The three bears explained that these flat shapes are 

called 2D shapes. Do you know what these shapes are 

called?  

Goldilocks was very happy that the three bears showed 

her these shapes! But these were just flat shapes. The 

REAL reason why the three bears wanted to show 

Goldilocks the magical shapes was because something 

very bad was going to happen soon.

Now the three little bears know the story of the Big 

Bad Wolf, and they heard that he was coming to 

blow Goldilocks' house down! Little Bear told 

Goldilocks that these 2D shapes are magical because 

they can be blown up into objects we can crawl into! 

When the Bad Wolf came to Goldilocks’ house, he 

huffed and he puffed and he blew at the big house, 

hoping he would knock it over, but Goldilocks and 

the three bears were hiding behind the three 

magical shapes. Something amazing happened...

The shapes became bigger and bigger, and instead of 

being shapes that are flat, they became 3D objects! 

Goldilocks and the three bears went inside them! The Big 

Bad wolf was very confused.
