chapter one

introduction

(talking) "So Mellanie, what about the wedding?" Said Fern, "I am going to have a window white dress!" Said Mellanie, "WAIT WHAT!?!" Said Sophie. Oh YEAH! My aunt is getting married! said Mellanie. Mellanie had brown wavy hair and blue eyes. Fern had hazel brown strait hair with green eyes. Sophie had black hair that was almost always in pigtails with bold blue eyes. RING!!! went the dismissal bell. It was time to go home. But right before the girls left, they saw a beautiful garnet ring. Mellanie picked up the ring and asked the two girls, "Is this any of yours?"

They both shook their heads and Mellanie put on the ring. The girls held their hands and left A.I. Root middle school. Then, a flash of light seemed to fill the hallway and then "Poof!" they were gone! They went to a place filled with witches,  ghosts, goblins, vampires, zombies, and black cats. Above their heads a sighn read, " Welcome to halloween town!" A kind ghost came up to the girls and said, "Hi welcome to halloween town!" and flew away. Sophie said, "okay..." Sophie and Fern continued walking. But they realized Mellanie was not there, they searched far and wide, but still, no Mellanie? The only trace they had of Mellanie was tinsle from her jacket, a shoe with the same soul, and the same blue saphire earing with the back.

chapter two

They found a trace of footsteps with the same soul pattern as Mellanie's shoe, but except now it was pitch black. The two girls picked up a very bright lantern and pointed it down at the tracks of footsteps but the lantern was so bright that it guided their way too! And so they followed and followed the tracks of footsteps led them so far that it felt like they were walking for miles! or at least a thousand miles!!! But they came to a stop, because they bumped into something... IT WAS MELLANIE!!!!! They all held hands and teleported to the real world. But, there was a problem, everyone was looking for the girls! Mellanie had missed the wedding, Fern had missed the family restaurant time, 

and Sophie had missed her hang out. Their moms were so worried. The girls separated and went home. Their moms asked the girls where they were and they said they were running late. The girls tried to forget the whole thing and they started an essay they had for school on their third period. And they had to right about a famous historical person. Fern wrote about George washington, Mellanie's was about Abraham lincoln, and Sophie wrote about Motzart.

The next day was normal. Nothing special. You can skip this chapter if you like, actually, I mean, (monster voice) YOU WILL READ THIS CHAPTER!!! The next period was history, so the girls handed in their essays and Fern got a A+, Mellanie got a B-, and And Sophie got a A-. Jerry is one of the girls classmates, Jerry said, "Mellanie, you could have gotten a higher score!" "Well you got a D-!!!" said Mellanie. Mr. Bates was happy with Mellanie, Fern, and Sophie. Jordan was Mellanies friend, he said, "Don't worry you did your best!, Jerry's full of bogus!" Jordan gave Jerry an ugly look, Jerry copied. Mellanie blushed! The girls all hugged, Fern said " I love you guys!" THE END

This story was for a mystery unit in WIN. but not only because of that I became happy when I wrote, but because Mrs. Meir encouraged me and made writing fun.
