A few months ago, in a not so far away land known
as New York, there lived a tiny mouse named
Mouserella. Mouserella lived in a giant penthouse
with her stepmother and stepsisters. Her
stepmother and sisters made her do all the work.
“Mouserella!” one stepsister yelled. “Go get me
some cheese!”. “Mouserella!”, The other sister
yelled. “Make me a sandwich!” This was how it had
been ever since her father had gone away on a
business trip.

One day, there was a knock on the door. When
Mouserella opened the door, there was a mouse.
This mouse had on a butlers outfit. He handed her
an invitation. “From the mouse downstairs.” He
said. Then he walked away. “Who was it? Was it
the mail man?” Her stepmother called. Mouserella
walked in the living room, handed her stepmother
the invitation, and waited while she read it. She
finished reading, and then said, “It is an invitation
from the rich mouse family downstairs. There's a
party tomorrow!"

Mouserella asked. "Could I go to the party?” “Ha
ha! You? At that party?” her stepsisters said
between laughs. “You’ll just embarrass us.” The
next day, the sisters spent a long time getting
ready for the party. “Good bye, Mouserella.” They
yelled at her. And she ran to her room and cried.
Mouserella looked up after about five minuets and
saw a giant cat!

“Ahhh!”, Mouserella yelled. “How’d you even get
in the mouse hole? Your huge!”
“I have my ways.” , the cat said. “By the way, I’m
your fairy god-cat. You wanna go to this party,
right?” “Yes! More than anything!” Mouserella
cried. With a swish of her giant tail, the fairy
god-cat gave Mouserella a beautiful dress. Then,
she made Mouserella a tiny pair of shoes. “Now
lets go to this party.”

At the party, nobody recognized Mouserella. She
talked to other mice, danced with the rich mouse’s
son, and even her stepmother and stepsisters were
nice to her. In the end, her fairy god-cat came to
pick her up. All the sudden, her dress turned back
into rags. “Ugh, it’s Mouserella!” her stepmother
cried. Mouserella ran home and lost a shoe.
The next day, the mouse’s son, George, found
the shoe. He made every mouse in the building try
it on. Finally, he made it to Mouserella’s penthouse.
