Chapter 1

Hi! I’m Atlas, and I’m a dog and if you’re wondering what breed I am I’m a Aussie. I've been the biggest dog ever since I arrived to the Doherty family! I traveled all the way from Washington State at 2 months old to be with my forever family.

I took my first plane ride all the way across the country. It was 6 hours long. I was very nervous, but I knew my forever family was waiting for me so I I have to be brave “Finally, we landed what a insane bumpy flight that was!''

As I approached my new human mom i got so eager that I Peed in my crate. “Oh boy”. She was so excited to see me, but I was wondering why she didn’t pee herself of excitement like I did “oh well.” When she reached out to grab me I instantly jumped into her arms. I just knew I was going to love my new home.

Chapter 2

A week has passed by and I have been almost everywhere with my new family. My favorite place is called Starbucks. They have these delicious white fluffy cloud like treats called pup cups “boy are they good.”

In just a week my family has taught me how to sit and give paw. They get all crazy happy when I do it. I just love that I get yummy treats when I do. I can’t wait to see what other tricks i am gonna be learning. 

A few weeks have flown by and I can now sit, stay, paw, and even hug! My human mom and I have been busy and I have loved every moment here so far. However I am finally going to be able to go to my first ever state park. How wonderful is that I can’t wait to sniff everything and pee on every tree “oh yeah.” Another ride in the car! I just love car rides i think there my favorite thing ever!

Chapter 3

Once we arrived to the amazing state park my family let me off leash, and i got to run free. I ran, and i ran. I ran so fast that i tripped over my own paws “how embarrassing”. My family came running full speed making sure that i was okay. 

We walked through the horse trails which are very little cleared trails. Mostly cleared from horses walking through. The woods surrounding us were so thick and with dense foliage. I was taking ever moment in it was just all beautiful.
