On Christmas Eve, the day before Christmas, the pine tree is decorated in the evening and at midnight we go to mass called Polnoćka with the family.
On Christmas morning, presents are opened, family and friends are visited all day.
Traditionally, turkey with mince pies is prepared for lunch. The holiday table is rich in a variety of small dry and creamy cakes. There is also grown wheat on the table, in which there are candles that are lit during lunch.
"Special Needs - In Someone Else's Shoes"
The project started on November 1st, 2023 and will last until June 2024.
As part of the project, we will mark dates that draw attention to the appreciation of diversity and the empowerment of people with special needs by designing different activities
(e.g. International Day of Tolerance, World Day of People with Down Syndrome, International Day of People with Special Needs, World Day awareness about autism, etc.).
The goal of the project is the development of students' attitudes,
skills and competencies for the creation of an inclusive school culture.
