Snow Cones

Snow cones are really good.

I could eat them all day.

Snow cones taste like snow.

They make me freeze,

But I don't have a reason.

They sound like people balling up paper.

They are juicy and so cold.

There is water and ice.

I would eat it with a spoon, 

But not a stinky raccoon.

Chocolate makes me say mmmm.

It is so good.

It's so fun to make s'mores, mmm.

It smells so, so good,

Looks like a rectangle,

Sounds like a crack when you crack it,

Oh Valentine's Day!

It smells so sweet from all the treats.

How could I resist?

It makes me wanna twist!

It's so much fun.

It makes me wanna run.

It looks so colorful,

And smells so sugary and sweet.

It's what you do that makes Valentine's Day fun.

                                         Grandpa

My grandpa was very nice, respectful 

And had a good attitude.

He was funny, laughed a lot 

And was not mean.

He loved to play with children, 

Especially my brothers and me.

His favorite game to play was football.

He was soft and cozy,

But I feel sad because he died.

The year before last Christmas was the last time we saw 

him alive.

When we emptied his house,

We found presents there with our names on them.

Puppies make me smile.

They smell like dog shampoo.
