Chapter 1: A Spooky Boo-Day

I was searching around the house for cool presents for my birthday. I was really excited; it was on Halloween and Halloween was tomorrow. I was loving Mara like usual. Mara was petting me like usual. Rye-Rye was laying down by mommy’s feet; Jaime was as growly as usual.

Mara, Mommy and Tim were getting ready for bed when Riley said, “Let’s go snuggle.” The humans were already asleep; Mara did not watch her phone like usual. I snuck out to Cranberry Acres with Riley and the parakeets to see Max and Snow- the horses.

 The pets and I were almost there. When we arrived, Julie, the barn owner, almost spotted us- “O No!” I exclaimed. We ran and made it into the back barn where Max and Snow lived in their stalls. The parakeets helped us turn on the lights. We had a little barn party and it was really fun!

Chapter 2: Halloween Mischief

  It was 5am and mommy and Tim were about to get up for work. The situation was bad! They get up at 5:15 am and it takes 10 mins to get back home. We had to get there before they woke up! Or else they were going to think we were gone and they couldn’t find us; they would miss work and worry about us.

We got home just in time "phew!", and we pretended to fall asleep.  

Chapter 3: Happy Boo-Day!

      I can’t believe it's Halloween today and Mara is just waking up. Grammy is here, and in 10 minutes she is going to wake up Mara.  Ten minutes later she woke up Mara; Mara groaned “10 more minutes” and Grammy said “taste test time!”  

And Mara groaned again, “10 more minutes please!”  Grammy got Mara to get up and I was so excited when Mara came downstairs; I went into wiggle butt mode.  Then it was time for Mara to go to school, and I had to go into the crate again! ugh!!!

          Later, Mara got home and played with me for a little while, then Mommy said, “it’s time for bed.”  So we all went to bed

I am so excited for my snow birthday today!!!!  I said to Stella “its my birthday, its my birthday!”  Stella said “OK, OK calm down.”  And I said “but its my birthday!”  So Mara let Stella and I into the back yard.  Stella told me “this is my first time seeing snow.”  Then I said “its really fun, bounce in it.”  “No thanks” Stella said.  Then I said “its really fun!” So Stella tried it and it was really fun.
