Are you sure we are going the right way''? Lia said, dodging a tree branch hanging low,'' Yes,  I'm sure I saw it here,'' Diana said, looking at the map. Lia said rather quietly .''Maybe you just saw a giant bird, Diana''. Diana gave a disapproving look at Lia,'' We went over this before, I'm sure I saw a dragon. I know I saw a dragon, and STOP TRYING TO SNEAK OF WHEN I'M YELLING AT YOU!''. Still arguing, they continued walking in the forest.' 'AT LEAST I CAN SLEEP WITHOUT WETTING MY PANTS  AT NIGHT !'' ''Diana stop''.'' WHAT CAN'T THINK OF A COMEBACK? ''No, I was going to bring up your whole hair situation But LOOK.

Diana looked where her finger was pointing

It was a creature. The creature had firey coloured fur, sharp pointed teeth with spikey scales and enormous wings soaring around in the sky with something orange breathing out of its mouth. The girls were speechless. All their bodies could do was point at it and gaze endlessly.

At last, one of them spoke up'' Is that what I think it is'' Lia said as Diana broke into a song of how she was right. After a long time of the dragon souring around, it finally began to land. The girls were mixed with the emotion of fear, excitement. The dragon stared at them for a few minutes and, to their shock, started to speak in a low voice, ''It's here, It's here''. ''What''.

''IT'S HERE, RIGHT, HERE, RUN,'' the dragon said in a higher and louder voice. Lia and Diana looked at each with the same look. Let's run. They ran back to the city and sprinted back to their home.

Lia gasping for air, said,'' Are my eyes tricking me, or was that a real talking dragon''. ''Nope, I saw it too. Did you hear what it said''? ''Yeah, what does it mean? Diana shook her head.'' Well, I'm not going there again, No matter if the 'dragon' is real.''  Yeah, never again,'' Diana said nervously. Lia eyed her suspiciously. Diana knew Lia already knew what she was going to do, so she didn't bother to try and hide it '' 

'' Didn't you hear what that dragon said ''It's here'' That's just WEIRD. I HAVE TO GO BACK, it is TO AWESOME  TO LEAVE BEHIND.

'' What is there to investigate? I mean, we saw a creepy dragon in the middle of the forest that told us some weird, mysterious message that was told, I repeat, by a dragon, but what's the point in investigating''. '' ''You will get hurt or lost or something and end up in a situation where you, a 14-year-old girl, will have to fight against a dragon the size of our house! '' You know what? I won't go to the forest''.Good''. They both went back to their houses. Diana had to go back, but she couldn't tell Lia that, so she went downstairs to tell her mum ''Mum, I have a project in school where you have to

go into the forest and write down the things you see on paper. I have to give it tomorrow''. 

'' Isn't that a little dangerous, Diana?''. '' What? not dangerous at all'' she stammered nervously. So Diana went into the deep forest. As Diana got closer to her destination, she felt more and more guilty about not listening to her best friend.

At last, when she reached her destination, all she saw was a deep dark temple. She hesitated and thought,'' What should I do'' Finally, she went into the temple with her phone on flashlight mode. She walked for what seemed like an hour until she heard a sound that made her stop dead.  

It was the sound of the dragon she had met roaring at a volume she had never heard before.

Not knowing where her legs were taking her, she dashed over to where the sound was but stopped seeing something highly unexpected; Lia was on the floor wearing an angry expression, right next to the dragon she had seen before. She rushed to Lia, who had to be restrained from running over to the dragon and beating him up.

 ''What are you doing here''. ''Well, I knew you were still gonna sneak off without me knowing, so I came to the temple first, and next thing I know, a dragon came and attacked me, so I took out my sword, which I only use for very critical situations, and just about to come right at him but then he plays the dragon card and breathes fire at me, so I jump back, and then you came in''.Diana still in shock says'' First of all you have a SWORD and second of all ARE YOU OKAY! Lia nodded, but before she knew it, Lia was rushing over to the dragon and pointing her sword right at him. 

Diana was worried and was just about to stop Lia, but then suddenly, the dragon started to glow and shape an hourglass that was also glowing. When the hourglass stopped glowing, there was a brief pause before Lia leaned closer and touched the top of the hourglass. Lia could suddenly feel herself flying. All she could see was smoke rushing around; not able to see anything around her, she tried to walk, but something restrained her. She could hear a muffled voice screaming '' LIA, LIA''. Then everything went pitch black.
