Spyros Gianniotis
(born 19/2/1980)
is a Greek swimming champion.
He is an Olympic silver medalist in the 10 km open water swimming at the 2016 Olympic Games.
He was the 5th and 7th Olympic champion (2004) in swimming, the only Greek with a triple Olympic Games final appearance. He belongs to Olympiacos. In 2011 he won the 10 km open water world championship and was named Athlete of the Year by the PSAA, an award he won in the following years 2012 and 2013. He was then selected by FINA as a candidate for the world's top athlete in the open water for 2012.
On 16 June, the birthplace of the great swimmer gave his name to the swimming pool where he started his racing career.

She is a retired Greek hurdler.
She was born in Larissa, and represented Olympiacos.
She won the gold medal in the women's 400m hurdles at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

During the semifinals Chalkia set an Olympic record of 52.77 seconds.

In 1992, I was the surprise winner (Gold Medal) of the Women's 100 m hurdles race at the Olympic Games in Barcelona and I was voted the Best Balkan Athlete that same year.

My favourite athlete is Miltos Tentoglou. He became Olympic champion by winning the gold medal in the men’s long jump final with a jump of 8.41m. in Tokyo.


He started athletics completely by accident at the age of 15. He has won gold medals in World and European championships.

Some things worth knowing about Tentoglou:
- His mind is always on his special homeland, Grevena.
- According to his statement, he is "lazy".
- At some point he wanted to be a chef and he always likes good food, but also cooking.
- He likes computer games, started to study computer science, but dropped out because of athletics. His favorite game is Super Mario.
- He is crazy about drawing and painting.
- He rarely makes statements, but they are full of sincerity.

Iga Świątek is a Polish professional tennis player. She was born on May 31, 2001, in Warsaw, Poland. Iga started playing tennis at the age of 6 and turned pro in 2018.
She is known for her powerful and precise groundstrokes, high tennis IQ, and impressive footwork on the court. Iga's biggest achievement as a tennis player came at the 2020 French Open, where she won the singles title, becoming the first player from Poland to do so.
Since her breakthrough in Paris, Iga has become one of the rising stars of women's tennis, with many predicting a bright future for the young player.

Adam Malysz is a retired Polish ski jumper who is considered one of the greatest athletes in the sport's history.
Adam Malysz was born on December 3, 1977, in Wisla, Poland.
He began ski jumping at the age of five.
He won his first World Cup event in 1998 and went on to dominate the sport in the 2000s.
Malysz won four World Cup titles (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005) and four Olympic medals (silver in 2006, bronze in 2002 and 2010, and team gold in 2002).

Novak Djokovic is is a Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
