You are not alone.

Paisley grew up in a very loving home with her Mom, Dad, older sister, and her puppy named Luna! Paisley attended middle school, and her sister attended high school.
Paisley has the highest grades, and is at the top of her class. Outside of school, she dances for fun! She has attended, and won, all of her dance competitions!

"Hi! I'm Paisley!"

Paisley attended dance class every day. Her dance teacher, Miss Wilson, is rigorous. Miss Wilson isn't very nice to Paisley even when she tries her hardest.
There is a big competition coming up! Paisley has a big solo! If she doesn't get first place Miss Wilson said she will not be able to move up on the elite team.

"PAISLEY POINT YOUR TOES!!!!"
"Sorry, Miss Wilson."
Paisley practiced for hours every day. She wanted her dance to be perfect! Her Mom and Dad started to worry about Paisley. Paisley's teacher from school sent a grade report home. Her Mom and Dad saw her grades declining because she was so focused on her dance.
"Paisley, have you been distracted in class?" Her mother exclaims.
"No Mother." "I am fine," Paisley says.

"Don't you think its time for bed, Paisley?"
"Just one more practice mom!"

As the dance competition approached, Paisley stopped hanging out with all her friends and began to only focus on dance.
"Paisley! Let's play tag!" Her friend exclaims excitidelty.
"Sorry, I can't right now I have to make my dance perfect." says Paisley.
Paisley began to become overwhelmed with the thought of losing the competition. She has always dreamed of becoming a dancer!

"Paisley! Let's play tag!"
"Sorry, I can't right now. I have to practice."
The day finally approached! After many days of practicing Paisley gets to compete with her dance!
While she practiced, a few minutes before she competes, Paisley starts to get very nervous. Her hands start to sweat, and she has butterflies in her stomach. Miss Wilson starts to yell at Paisley making her even more nervous.

"PAISLEY, STOP MESSING UP! FOCUS!"
"I'm sorry Miss Wilson. I'm just nervous."
As everyone shuffles in, Paisley pushes her nerves away and begins her dance. She spots her parents in the crowd and it calms her.
She realizes that she messed up a few steps, but she completes the dance and walks off stage. She is disappointed, but she hopes she still has a chance to win.
