

1.Πρώτο έργο: Σκοτώνοντας το λιοντάρι της Νεμέας
Το λιοντάρι της Νεμέας, ένα τεράστιο θηρίο, είχε δέρμα τόσο σκληρό που κανένα βέλος δεν μπορούσε να το διαπεράσει. Ο Ηρακλής στραγγάλισε το τέρας με τα γυμνά του χέρια, μετά το έγδερνε χρησιμοποιώντας τα αιχμηρά νύχια του λιονταριού και μετά πήρε το δέρμα που φορούσε μέχρι το τέλος της ζωής του.
1. Prima munca: Uciderea leului din Nemeea
Leul din Nemeea, o fiară uriașă, avea pielea atât de dură, încât nicio sageată nu putea pătrunde prin ea. Heracles a sugrumat monstrul cu mâinile goale, apoi l-a jupuit folosind ghearele ascuțite ale leului, și apoi a luat pielea pe care a purtat-o pânâ la sfârșitul vieții.

Η Ύδρα, ένα τέρας με σώμα φιδιού και εννέα κεφάλια προκαλούσε φόβο στην περιοχή της Λέρνας. Ο Ηρακλής έκοψε το ένα κεφάλι, αλλά στη θέση του εμφανίστηκαν δύο νέα. Ο Ηρακλής έκοψε γρήγορα τα κεφάλια, ενώ ο φίλος του, ο Ιόλαος, τα έκαψε. Τότε ο ήρωας βύθισε τα βέλη του στο αίμα της, κάνοντάς τα δηλητηριώδη.
2. Lupta împotriva Hidrei, Hydra, un monstru cu corp de șarpe și nouă capete provoca spaima în regiunea Lerna. Hercule a tăiat câte un cap, dar apăreau două noi în loc. Hercule a taiat repede capetele, in timp ce prietenul lui, Iolaus, le-a ars. Apoi eroul si-a inmuiat sagetile in sangele ei, facandu-le otrăvitoare.
3. Catching the Deer of the Goddess Artemis.
The goddess of the hunt, Artemis loved this deer that had golden horns. Hercules had to catch her without hurting her, so as not to upset the goddess Artemis. Hercules managed to catch the deer with golden horns, after a year of trying, on the plains of Arcadia.

Η θεά του κυνηγιού Άρτεμις λάτρευε αυτό το ελάφι που είχε χρυσά κέρατα. Ο Ηρακλής κατάφερε να πιάσει το ελάφι με τα χρυσά κέρατα, μετά από ένα χρόνο προσπάθειας, στους κάμπους της Αρκαδίας.
Zeița vânătorii, Artemis iubea această căprioară care avea coarne de aur. Hercule a reușit să prindă căprioara cu coarne de aur, după un an de încercări, pe câmpiile Arcadiei.


The people of Mount Erymanthus lived in fear of this dangerous animal. Heracles followed the animal to the top of the mountain, between high snows. Then he took it on his back and took it to King Eurystheus, who was so scared of the animal that he hid in a large bronze vessel.

Οι κάτοικοι του όρους Ερύμανθος ζούσαν με τον φόβο αυτού του επικίνδυνου ζώου. Ο Ηρακλής κυνήγησε το ζώο στην κορυφή του βουνού, ανάμεσα στα ψηλά χιόνια. Μετά το πήρε στην πλάτη του και το πήγε στον βασιλιά Ευρυσθέα, ο οποίος τρόμαξε τόσο πολύ από το ζώο που κρύφτηκε σε ένα χάλκινο σκεύος.
4. Capturarea mistrețului de pe Muntele Erymanthus.
Oamenii de pe Muntele Erymanthus trăiau cu frica acestui animal periculos. Heracles a urmărit animalul până în vârful muntelui, între zăpezi înalte. Apoi l-a luat în spate și l-a dus regelui Euristeu, care s-a speriat atât de mult de animal încât s-a ascuns într-un vas din bronz.
Thousands of cows lived in the stables of King Augias. They had not been cleaned for 30 years, and Hercules had to clean them in one day. For this, he changed the course of two rivers so that they flow through the stables, thus cleaning them of dirt.

Χιλιάδες αγελάδες ζούσαν στους στάβλους του βασιλιά Αυγία. Δεν είχαν καθαριστεί εδώ και 30 χρόνια και ο Ηρακλής έπρεπε να τα καθαρίσει σε μια μέρα. Για αυτό, άλλαξε την πορεία δύο ποταμών, ώστε να κυλήσουν μέσα από τους στάβλους, καθαρίζοντάς τους από τέτοια βρωμιά.
5. A cincea muncă: Curățarea grajdurilor regelui Augias
Mii de vaci trăiau în grajdurile regelui Augias. Nu fuseseră curățate de 30 de ani, iar Hercule trebuia să le curețe într-o singură zi. Pentru acestea, el a schimbat cursul a două râuri, astfel încât ele sa curgă prin grajduri, curățându-le astfel de mizerie.
These birds lived around Lake Stymphalis. They had metal claws and beaks. Hercules scared them with the bronze bells given by Athena and killed them using arrows poisoned with the blood of the hydra.

6.Έκτο Έργο: Σκοτώνοντας τα Στυμφαλικά Πουλιά
6. A șasea munca: Uciderea păsărilor stimfaliene
Aceste păsări locuiau în jurul lacului Stymphalis. Aveau gheare și ciocuri din metal. Hercule le-a speriat cu clopoțeii din bronz dați de Atena și le-a omorat folosind săgețile otrăvite cu sângele hidrei.
It was said that the wild bull of King Minos of Crete was mad and breathed fire. Heracles knocked the beast to the ground and brought it to King Eurystheus who freed it. The bull released in Greece theorized the people where it arrived.

7.έβδομο έργο: Σύλληψη του κρητικού ταύρου
7.Ο άγριος ταύρος του βασιλιά Μίνωα της Κρήτης λέγεται ότι ήταν τρελός και αναπνέει τη φωτιά. Ο Ηρακλής χτύπησε το θηρίο στο έδαφος και το έφερε στον βασιλιά Ευρυσθέα, ο οποίος το άφησε ελεύθερο. Ο ταύρος που κυκλοφόρησε στην Ελλάδα θεώρησε τους ανθρώπους πού έφτασε.
7. Capturarea taurului din Creta
Se spunea că taurul sălbatic al regelui Minos din Creta era nebun și sufla foc. Heracles a doborât bestia la pământ și a adus-o regelui Eurystheus, care l-a eliberat. Taurul eliberat în Grecia a teorizat oamenii acolo unde a ajuns.
The king of Thrace, Diomede, fed his mares with human flesh. Hercules and his men fought with Diomede, killed him and let the mares eat his body. This tamed the mares, Hercules being able to take them to King Eurystheus.
