Who were conquistadors

    Conquistadors were Spanish men who traveled the world. Looking for gold glory and were looking to convert people to Christianity.

What types of ships did the conquistadors use?

    The conquistador's ships were huge they were called the Galeon. They were armed ships that could hold up to 1000 tons.

God, Glory, and Gold

    One of the main reasons that the conquistadors explored and discovered land was because they would convert people to Christianity, find gold sell it, and gain praise from the people back home

Hardships 

    The conquistadors weren't sponsored by the monarchs. This means they didn't get anything from them all they had were boats that were very expensive to buy/build. And they had diseases such as the flu, norovirus, and measles. 

Famous conquistadors

    Juan Rogriguez Cabrillo, Juan took his first quest on June 27 1542, and took off at Navidad, Mexico 3 months later he landed in what is now San Diego Bay. He completely changed the sailing industry and inspired many people to sail and explore the world on ship.
