Santa Claus, with this story the cycle of customs and traditions of the winter holidays ends....!
Old legends say that on the evening of January 6 to 7 Santa Claus comes.
He is always represented in brown, which represents abundance.
He is remembered since ancient times, being mentioned by the Dacians.
The Romans wanted to destroy him, but the Daco-Romans secretly kept him alive.

Teacher ALINA LAZĂR, MANAGER GABRIELA STAICU AND TEACHER ROMEO POPESCU, RM VÂLCEA
The Romans wanted to destroy him, but the Daco-Romans secretly kept him alive.
The free Dacians had a carol in honor of "Sorcova" that's what they called him.
Although today many have forgotten him, there are still some who honor him.
The confusion that occurs between Santa Claus of the Dacians and
John the Baptist of the Romans (especially the Daco-Romans) is common today.
Although tomorrow many Christians are preparing for the holy water, some live with nostalgia and with peace and joy in their souls the arrival of Santa Claus.

He ends the magic of winter, with him the tree and the lights that represent their light and life are gathered.
He brings gifts to the tree and decorates the house for the new year.
The magic of winter ends but not Winter.
Don't forget the Dacian winter gods represent "joy, light, life, abundance".
The lights have the role of scaring the shadows and leaving them powerless.
