This book also shows us that although there are differences between our cultures, the similarities are worth the effort to cooperate and make our learning process more fun!

Our German students drew a pictogram of a delicious recipe of Christmas cookies which are typical in their country

They enjoyed cooking them and decorating them with beautiful colours at school. The result looked delicious.

Working together on this project was a great experience for German students at Naabtal-Realschule

The students used a gingerbread man mould to create their traditional Christmas cookies and they cooked their own dough
Students worked together in class and it was a great experience to share with their friends from other European countries. Christmas was more entertaining with their teacher Veronika and eTwinning!!!

SLOVAKIA

Cooking in Slovakia was also an important part of the project where student and teachers co-worked to show the rest of participants how good their Christmas sweets looked!!!
They also worked on the writing of some Christmas cards that were sent to the rest of students in Spain, Germany and Poland using the traditional mail service! That made the experience much more thrilling!
All Slovakian students could also answer the questions in the Kahoot of the project to see how much they had learnt about Christmas in other European countries
Receiving the letters from other countries was super fun and students could discover how mail was sent and received before the Internet existed. It was more exciting!!!
