Xiomara De Oliver started painting when she was 5 years old. She is known for her paintings which explores the physical and political condition of Black and African American women. Her style of painting was abstract. Her artwork includes Queen me in 2004 and can be found in public museum collections.

Xiomara De Oliver faced lots of hardships in her lifetime.

She also had trouble speaking up for her art because she lived where many white people or lighter skined people who did not like that people like her where living there so she speaked up for black people because some white people did not like that she was living there but she grew up she became an amazing artist.
