One normal Monday afternoon after school, Jeff and Molly had a long bus ride home.
They couldn’t stop thinking about the ice cream visit that dad promised them. Molly says,“
I can’t wait to eat a strawberry sundae from Dairy King.”
Jeff says, “ Me either, I’m going to get a lot of marshmallows on my chocolate sundae.”

As the bus stops in front of the kids house, mom walks up to get
them. Mom takes them both from across the street to their home.
Mom doesn’t know about the ice cream promise. Jeff looks at Molly
and puts his index finger to his mouth. He whispers,
“Shh, remember mom can’t know.”

One normal Monday afternoon after school, Jeff and Molly had a
long bus ride home. They couldn’t stop thinking about the
ice cream visit that dad promised them. Molly says,“ I can’t wait to eat a
strawberry sundae from Dairy King.”
Jeff says, “ Me either, I’m going to get a lot of marshmallows on my chocolate sundae.”

Molly and Jeff take off their shoes and
backpacks.No need to take off any jackets
because it’s 90 degrees outside. As they get settled
in, they are patiently waiting for dad to come home.
Mom asks if the children were they ready to go
to the Farmers Market. The kids are wondering if
they are still going to be able to visit Dairy King.

Dad walks in the front door “Hello, children” as he
gives his wife a kiss on the cheek. Dad looks at the children
and winks making the children really excited. and exclaims,
(The children get really excited.) Dad changes from his work
clothes and puts his briefcase on the kitchen counter.
The children smile at each other when dad is all ready to go.

Everyone is ready to walk out the door. In the car, mom makes sure the kids
are in the back seat all strapped in. The family is on there way to the market to
get vegetables and milk for the house.Vegetables are very good for you and they
help you grow.Mom doesn’t know about the surprise that
dad has for Jeff and Molly. She's been trying to create a healthy home
with healthy foods.
