Starting at a young age in a small town of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Logan had a dream of playing professional baseball. 

This dream was all he could think about. From the moment he picked up a baseball, he knew he wanted to play in the MLB.  Despite the odds, and being from a small town, he was determined to see this come to pass.  

The first step in playing professional baseball, is to play collegiate baseball, preferably at the D1 level. Logan had a dream of playing baseball for the Gators, at the University of Florida. 

This was a tall task because no one from Minnesota has ever played baseball for the Gators, and being recruited as a midwest native to SEC schools was unheard of at the time. 

Logan decided he was going to do whatever it took to make this happen, and through sacrifice and dedication he committed to a scholarship to play there as a sophomore in high school. 

The start to his freshman year at UF, he experienced a lot of failure. He hadn't ever played against such tough competition.
