As a fellow Russian immigrant trying to find a new life in crowded New York life here is pretty tough having to find new job opportunities in New York and be able to save and spend while trying to survive in the gilded age as an immigrant with big bosses in those times

Coming into New York And Life
When I came from Russia the boat was making me sick I came onto Ellis Island an immigrant place for people who came from Europe like me, didn't speak good English, and had lines memorized to say where I am from and what my name is and my purpose of coming here. I was done with the screening process and exited the building I saw my Brother who spoke Russian and was working in a steel factory, there was workplace exploitation we got paid small wages not enough to live so we had to save all our money together.
Jobs I Have In New York
Jobs I have in New York are Steel manufacturing with my older brother like making steel for railroads and steel for other things and having to save and track our expenses for food and rent in New York, the family saves and tracks our allowances to see what we have left to spend so it's pretty hard out here and there was a lot of people from different countries that didn't speak English and was working to earn money for their family.
Home life
Home life here is decent we share apartments with my brother and his family of 3, he, His wife, and his son, we split the chores all separate like one might do the dishes one might do the laundry and one might cook food or grocery shop so we have a tight-knit family here none of us speak Russian except me I spoke very little and the work-life balance is pretty hard here too having to try to speak English to communicate with bosses which they force their culture on us trying to make us assimilate but we trying to be a culture so we have our Russian traditions too.
Political Life
As a Russian immigrant, I don't follow leaders really except for those wage leaders for example Samuel Gomper who is a federal union laborer, and some of those religious leaders in our Russian community like a friend who is a group leader in the space economic hardships found themselves in low paying jobs that are dangerous just for them. and talk about the discrimination between the
Jewish Russian anti-scientism and socioeconomic status the immigration law is a daunting task to deal with.
