Our target audience is for 1st to 4th graders.

“Ahhhhhhhhhh……!” screamed someone in the town. I heard a screaming sound in the middle of the night. “ What was that sound!” I complained, sleepy. I decided to go take a look outside at what was going on there. When I went outside, I saw nothing, only to hear a screech, or a scream.

    “NOOOOO!!! AHHHHH!!!” The sound screamed.

    “It’s coming from the direction of the town hall.” I thought to myself. When I went in, I heard nothing but saw a note.

“Better keep this to myself rather than giving it to the team.” I thought . 

    My team includes two of my friends. Lucas is a nightwing. He is good at dodging and lightning quick and has long cube swords and slime stars. Alex is a paladin, and her defense is very high. She can even heal her teammate when needed, but they aren’t as good as me. Then, in the corner of my left eye, I saw about 20 ninjas running towards the town hall door. I tried to chase them down, but they were too agile and fast.

    Then I got curious about what was inside of the note.

    The note says, ‘You need to rescue the mayor as fast as you can, otherwise, we will send him into the—” I hadn’t even finished the last two words, then, a “BOOM!!” sound landed from the ceiling to my front. 

“TEAM SCORPION!” I yelled out as my voice echoed through the hall. Then, I calmed myself down and said,”Where is the mayor?”

    “HAHAHA! You think we want to tell you?! Keep dreaming Steve!!” laughed Team Scorpion and then ran away.

    “GRRRRR!!!” I yelled as my both hands “burned up”.

    “I’ve had enough of this! I’m calling in the team.” I roared. 

    A few moments later, the whole entire squad came.

    “Alright, listen up team. We have a problem. The mayor has been kidnapped!” I said, disgusted by James' horrible stench.

    “James!” I yelled out.

    “Yes, sir?” mumbled James.

    “I need you to track down— wait, have you heard of ‘‘Team Scorpion’’?”

    “Yeah.”

    “Good. Track them down.”

    “Yes, sir!” James shouted.

    Then, Lucas entered our conversation, and said with confidence,“Okay, let’s go!”

    “Yeah we don’t want to waste our time.” said Alex as she looked at her watch that was in her pocket. We left in the morning. When we were close to Team Scorpion and James’s ranger-keen eyes saw something moving in the horizon.

    “That’s it!” yelled James. 

    “That’s what?” I asked, confused.

    “I think I saw Team Scorpion’s trail!”

    “Okay! Lead us, James!”

    “Yes, ma’m!” James joked.

    I rolled my eyes, “Not the time for joking.”

    After we sprinted for around 5 hours, we fell on our knees.

    “Ugh! I think…we…arrived…at their… hideout….” I said while gasping for air.
