In Athens lived a 5-year-old girl named Artemis. One day the teacher at school told them they were going on a field trip to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon. The teacher told them about the architects of the Parthenon (Iktinos and Kallikrates), about how the Parthenon was built, about the statue of the goddess Athena holding victory in one hand and about the 50 columns it had. Artemis was impressed (as soon as they visited the monument) and decided to visit Europe to see monuments of other countries and learn about their history and culture. So he started by bus to go to Croatia. Her friends from Zagreb would be waiting for her there.
We went for a walk in the park-museum Vladislav Varnenchik. There together we saw the horseman and the only true armor of the knights. We visited the two Thracian tombs. We brought fresh flowers to the monument of János Huhyadi and King Vladislav. We took a long walk. The park is very big, when we got tired we went to tell us about the knightly crafts.

Our children from Spain were really nervous! They were going to meet Artemis from Athens and the other friends from Bulgaria and Croatia!!
We had many questions to ask about the places where they have been!
First, we waited them and took from Madrid airport and then we went to Burgos by bus.
After that, we were walking around our city. We saw the narrow medieval streets, part of them belongs to Santiago´s way.
We saw El Cid ( like your Jano but in a Spanish version), we saw the river Arlanzón, then we arrived into the most famous medieval gate in Burgos( Santa Maria Arch) and at last we visited Burgos cathedral with the same name as the arch. We went inside and saw the golden stairs and the Papamoscas ( automaton clock).
We had to leave Burgos but now we travel together to a new place Delphi in Greece .

We were all very happy to meet our new friends. So, we welcomed them all together at the entrance of the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia. It was a very important day because the Olympic flame lighting ceremony would take place as the Olympic Games will be held in France this summer. At first, we took a walk in the archaeological site and arrived at the temple of Zeus where we saw his golden elephant statue. We were all impressed by its size which reached up to the ceiling. Then, we walked up to the temple of Hera and watched the priest lighting the Olympic Flame asking for the help of Apollo, the god of the sun. Finally, we headed to the stadium and saw the priestesses and kuros dancing. One of the priestesses released a white dove into the sky, thus sending the message of love and peace to the whole world. A great day and an unforgetable journay have come to an end. Our friends had to go back home. Our hearts are full of beautiful memories. So, we said goodbye with the promise that we will meet again.
