We dedicate this book to anyone who seeks better health, social skills, and a better mood.

This book was not to call out to people who are not as fit. Instead, we want to encourage and help them have a better life through sports in this book.

It was a bright and sunny day. Kyrie jumped out of bed and raced to his parent's room.

"Mom, Dad! It's my first day of 3rd grade!" Kyrie yelled.

“Ok, get ready!” Kyrie's mom replied. Kyrie wore his favorite clothes which were a green Minecraft shirt, blue athletic shorts, and his red Jordan 1’s. After he got ready, he ate Coco Puffs for breakfast and then brushed his teeth. Finally, Kyrie and his parents got into their car and after minutes of driving, they finally got to school.

MOM DAD! IT'S MY FIRST DAY OF  SCHOOL!

As Kyrie got to the school gate he was shivering in fear.

“Bye, Mom and Dad." He said in a worried voice. Kyrie was walking down to the waiting area where other 3rd graders were. Once he was there, he looked around and saw a boy who didn’t fit in his clothes and was eating a bag of lays chips while being showered in tears.

“Hi. My name is Kyrie.” Kyrie said. The boy looked up and wiped his tears. 

“Hi, my name is Gordon." He said sadly still sobbing. 

"Are you ok?” asked Kyrie. 

“I'm just sad because I’m new to this school and my parents dropped me off here leaving me alone," he said more loudly.

“The same thing happened to me! I am also sad. Wanna be friends?” said Kyrie. 

“Sure!” Gordon said happily. 

Gordon stopped eating his lays and put them away. Kyrie then sat down next to Gordon on the table and asked him, “What do you like to do for fun?” 

“I just like to eat especially when I’m sad, and at home, I like to sleep a lot!” Gordon replied.

Kyrie said, “I like to play basketball and soccer!"

"Ring!” The school bell rang. Kyrie and Gordon look at their paper to see what class they are in. They looked and both got room 211!

Kyrie and Gordon went into their classroom and their teacher Mr.Murphy said to them that they were both sitting right next to each other! Mr.Murphy told the whole class that they had math. He handed them both their worksheets and Gordon and Kyrie started doing it.

Kyrie said to Gordon, "Do you know what the answer to number 1 is?" 

Gordon then said, "Dude the answer is 8!" After 30 minutes of math, Kyrie and Gordon finally finished their papers and gave them to Mr.Murphy. Mr.Murphy graded their papers and they both got 100%. Then, the teacher said to the class that they had PE now!

Once Kyrie and Gordon's class got to PE, their teacher Mr. Tate said to them, "We are going to do a relay race!" Gordon was nervous because he knew that he was not as fast as the other kids beside him. 

Kyrie then said to Gordon, "Gordon we got this! We just have to put in our best effort. Don't think about how others will run, just keep your head in the game!"

After a couple of minutes of other classmates running, Kyrie and Gordon were finally up next! Gordon refreshed his mind and got ready to run. 

Mr. Tate then said, "3,2,1 GO!" 

Gordon had a really bad start and was last. 

Kyrie saw from the sideline that Gordon was doing badly, so he motivated him by saying, "You got this Gordon, I believe in you." But, Gordon was still doing bad and the other people were way ahead of him. Gordon finally finished the race and got last. He was devastated. Since Gordon lost, he was determined to work harder than he ever did to get faster and stronger.
