Charlie Mange was a popular 6th grader at 

Europa West Elementary School. He was 

loved by everyone and was looked up to by 

his little brother Carl. He was in the top of 

his class. He is very skilled in his foreign 

language classes, loves to tutor other kids, 

and is very athletic. He goes to church every 

day and is very into sunday school. One day, 

Charlie got a chance to become a leader. Did 

he jump at the opportunity?

There is a dodge ball game held at his 

school every year. Last year his little 

brother had an awesome team, but his 

brother cannot do it anymore. In turn, 

Charlie was appointed leader of that 

group.   This year, Charlie wants to 

gather up a lot of his friends and take 

home the trophy. It has been a long 

term goal, ever since Jaxon's team beat 

him last year.

Charlies friends Francis, Jeremy, Holly, 

Sven, Austin, Polly,and Ian all came 

together to make the team they call the 

Hot-dogs. They were a great team and 

all came from different social 

backgrounds. This made it so Charlie 

was the leader of a span of people, not 

just the popular and cool, but the 

outcasts too. 

Charlie spent every day 

after that, teaching and 

perfecting their dodge ball 

tactics. Educated them on 

the 5 D's and even bought 

them T-shirts that they 

had to wear. He basically 

"converted" them so that 

they eat, breathe, and 

sleep dodge ball.

Charlie worked and worked on the teams skills. 

They were improving greatly. It was only a day 

away from the tournament. They were going to 

need all the support they could get. 

So, the next day, Charlie had all his 

teammates go rally up some fans. He promised 

them a great game. Jaxon was going to go 

down this year for sure. There is no way 

Charlie could let him win. He would have to 

conquer them all. 

Then the day came, game day. Charlie and 

and his team beat all the other teams by a 

landslide, but the worst was yet to come. The 

finals would be a 3 day event. This time it 

would be a ruthless battle, Jaxon and his 

barbaric, no-mercy team, who all live in the 

north, against Charlie and his loyal followers.
