Introducing Oneself

Ahmet from Türkiye, Isabel from Spain, Bogdan from Romania, Alberto from Italy

Ahmet: Hi Isabel, How are you?

Isabel: I’m fine, thank you. And what about you?

Ahmet: I feel great.It is so nice to meet you.

Isabel: What about Bogdan and Alberto?

Ahmet: They are coming.

Isabel: Where are they now?

Ahmet: Right now they are coming in the bus.

In the Classroom

Isabel: Hi Boğdan ,What class is next?

Boğdan: It’s Geography.

Alberto: I don’t like Geography.

Ahmet:Why not?

Alberto: Because it’s too boring.

Isabel: What’s your favourite subject?

Alberto: My favourite subject  is Music. I love playing the guitar and singing a song.

Boğdan: Oh, I like music too.But I can’t play the guitar. 

3rd Dialogue

At the Cinema

Ahmet: Without further delay, let's pick a film to watch. What genre of movies do you like most, Bogdan?

Bogdan: Hm.. I'd say I love action-packed films with some suspense in them.

Ahmet: There's this film with exactly what you described, so lucky! Would you like to watch that, Isabel, Alberto?

Isabel: Ah.. I'm not too keen on action films, Ahmet. I usually prefer horror or romance films. 

Alberto: I agree with Isabel, I'd prefer to watch a romantic film.

Ahmet: Oh well, then maybe we can pick another movie to watch, or is there a movie that inspired you before that you'd like to watch? Something you'd be fine with rewatching and can provide us with details on what to expect?

Isabel: Oh! I've watched the second film on the list of the cinema. It was amazing, with both romance and action in it, also some horror elements, and it inspired me greatly.

Alberto: A perfect mix of what we all want, then. 

Ahmet: Alright! Let's go watch it if we have no further objections. On another note, hope you all remember about the barbecue party at mine. I want to see you all there.

At the barbecue party

Ahmet : BBQ's great, huh? But, seriously, exams are looming. Anyone started studying?

Isabel : (laughs) BBQ distracted me. Physics is my worry. Equations are like a foreign language.

Bogdan: (nodding) Physics is tough. I'm stressing over history—so many dates.

Ahmet: (leaning back) Calculus is my nemesis. How about a study group? We can help each other out.

Alberto : Good plan. To the study group!

Alberto and Bogdan : (raising their cokes) To the study group!
