Once upon a time there lived a young boy not
in the lands of kings and queens, but near our
modern times where he ruled his own
kingdom. This trouble some boy's kingdom
was well... a playground. His name was
Gabriel or "King Gabe" as he liked to be called
by his friends.

Gabriel was not so popular in school. As he
would always bully other students by sealing
their lunch money and food. Worst of all he
controlled the only fun place that the kids
liked to hang out at, which was the
playground. Since Gabriel was a scary kid
nobody would dare disobey him, not even his
friends.

So when it was time to go to the playground
Gabriel was the one who decided what games
to play. Not only that, but if somebody wanted
to play on the swings, sides, or any other
equipment they need to ask for his permission.
Gabriel had some friends, they did not like the
way he acted especially Riley. His friends were
James, Max, and of course Riley.

One day Riley decided to go on the swings
without asking for Gabriel's permission. As
soon a he saw her, Gabe was furious. Even
though Riley was one of his best friends, no
one was allowed to disobey his rules. He
feared that if one of his closest friends did not
listen to him then why should every one else.
Gabe needed to punish her in some way.

"Hey Riley! What do you think you're doing?"
shouted gabriel as he walked up to her.
"I'm playing on the swing" replied Riley.
"Did you forget the rules? You need to ask me
if you are allowed to swing first," said Gabriel.
"Why should I? You're not the boss!" Riley said
in an angry tone.

Now frustrated, Gabriel didn't want to look bad
in front of the other kids.
Then Gabriel said with a grin, " Fine then,
you're not allowed to play on the playground
for the rest of the month!"
" Oh yeah? Just you wait and see, I'm telling
the principal!" Riley shouted and ran off,
James and max following behind.

Principal Clarkson was an old short man, who
rarely smiled. Gabriel was sent to his office
many times in the past and he wasn't afraid to
go again. They both naturally hated each other
and Mr. Clarkson can't stand Gabriel. When
Gabriel finally saw the principal about the
playground incident, he was given a lunch
detention.

That was Riley's plan after all. She wanted to
have a meeting with the other kids at the
playground, during lunch time at which Gabriel
would not be there. She wanted to find a way
to stop him from controlling them.

"Does anybody have an idea of how we can
stop Gabriel?" asked Riley.
Then James excitedly said, "Ooh! We should
start ignoring him and not play at the
playground until he realizes he made a
mistake."
"That's a good idea but i don't think it would
be enough" said Riley.
"Then how we make him sign rules that he
must follow?" suggested Max.
"That's a great idea!"said Riley.

The next day when Gabriel went to play he
noticed that the playground was empty and
there was no one to talk to. When he finally
found his friends they would not speak to him
and just kept ignoring him. They finally left
and Gabriel was alone and had nothing to do,
but sit alone in an empty playground.
