It was Max´s first time at the beach and he was not happy at all.

Max and his friend Cindy and Josh went to the beach together. There was only one problem, Max did not seem to enjoy it.

¨Why do you look sad?" asked Cindy.

Max had seemed to have a pout on his face.

" I never went to the beach before." replied Max.

" What! how come?" asked Cindy.

" I was always afraid of the water, and I guess my parents did not want to take me." Max said.

Jason and Cindy began to think of an idea that might help Max get in the water.

" Shall we rent a boat ?" Jason whispered to Cindy.

" That is a great idea Jason, lets try!" Cindy replied.

Jason and Cindy, decided to get a small boat to put in the water to see if it catches Max's attention.

At first, Max did not seem very confident about getting on a boat. Until he saw a little girl and her dad get on a boat themselves. Max thought to his head, "If that little girl can do it, so can I." He thought.

" Come on Max! get in! " Cindy yelled.
Max was afraid of the water and was thinking too much about the situation

" AH but what if -"

"Just get in it is not bad at all !" Jason interrupted.

And then Max got on the boat.

Max seemed to have enjoyed the little boat ride. He did not expect it to be calm. He had imagined it scary and did not think about how much fun it could have been.

" Guys this is so cool!" Max yelled

" See i knew you'd face your fear!" Cindy said happily.

" Woah, you are actually doing it" Jason said proudly.
