It is the story of empathy and friendship
...

Have you ever been left out in your life? Or did you exclude anyone ? I have not personally excluded anyone, nor have I been excluded, but unfortunately I have seen the one who was excluded and the others who excluded her. A new student came into the class. Her name was Süreyya. Unfortunately,she was walking-disabled. When she entered the classroom, everyone looked at her as bad and strange. But I welcomed her in a friendly way. She was also happy about this situation. I sat next to her to meet and started talking to her. She responded to me with sincerity.

-” I was very surprised that you spoke to me because I am generally excluded by everyone” said.
-‘’I have never excluded anyone in my life and I have always been with the excluded ones.’’ I said.
Just as we were talking, our school counselor entered the classroom. He asked her whether she liked the class. She did not want to complain to her classmates on the first day.
-‘’Yes, I did.’’ She replied.
- ‘’ If they exclude you, please inform me.’’ The school counselor said.
I told my parents about the new student today while I was eating dinner. My mother and father were also very sad by what I said and they appreciated my approach to Sureyya. I couldn't sleep all night thinking about Süreyya. Why do they exclude the disabled people? I thought about why they see them differently. It was morning, I ate breakfast and went to school. When I entered the class, I saw that they excluded Sureyya and behaved badly, I immediately tried to prevent them. Then our teacher entered the classroom and I sat next to Sureyya and said to her ;
-’’Tell them how sorry you are when they exclude you and treat badly. If they repeat their behavior, go to our school counselor and tell him all about it.

Unfortunately, it did not happen as I thought. Despite Sureyya's speech, they did not straighten up and fly right. She decided to talk to our school counselor. Our school counselor decided to punish them and did it. Unfortunately, the result wasn’t like that I thought. Even though our school counselor punished them, they did not come to senses. I thought that it fell to my lot.

I could never allow a friend of mine to be unjustly excluded. But I needed a good plan for this. My mother, who saw me absent-minded, asked what happened and I told her what happened and wanted them to regret what they did. My mother said that all this happened because those friends did not know how to empathize with anybody . When I heard the word empathy, an idea came to my mind. I kissed my mother with joy and went to my room. But I needed to make some preliminary preparations for this idea, and I did it.

The next day, I went to school before everyone else and prepared a surprise board. After a while,everyone who came to the classroom was looking at the board with surprise, there were students who were sad as well as laughing ones. Actually, I wasn't meant to upset anyone. While I was looking for a solution for a friend who was upset, I couldn’t want to upset someone else. I admit it was a bit harsh method, but it was the most effective method. After one lesson, I found myself in the room of school counselor. The school counselor asked ‘’why did you do this?’’ and I said ‘’I had to teach them a lesson’’. The school counselor said, "Do you think what you did was right?".
